Overview of the event. Timetable for the day. So what could possibly go wrong? Well, planning was going well and even Steve Lamey expressed surprise at the success of the planning that went into the event but, things started to go awry, challenges to cope with! Overview of the event. Timetable for the day. On the day we had croquet, skittles, a coconut shy, some computer games, treasure hunts, quiz sheets, pick a bottle, a bouncy castle, snail racing, Spacehopper races and more. There was music, an art and photographic exhibition and tours of the mansion. And for the children we had Jules the Clown.

Overview of the event. Timetable for the day. There was music from noon to midnight featuring but sadly Amazing Blondel had to pull out at the last minute because of illness. Thank heaven for Retread who extended their performance starting at 8:00 and finishing after midnight. In addition there was a mixture of religious and secular music performed by the choir of St Richard s Rose Green in the Chapel. And while Retread took a well earned break in the middle of the evening there were fireworks.

Overview of the event. Timetable for the day. Paul Jubb Fireworks were our professional firers for the display and what an incredible display it was too! People rarely see the amount of work that goes into firing a firework display and we would like to say a very big thank you to Paul and his team. It is not just the setting up on the day, the display has to be planned, the fireworks prepared, fused and waterproofed and after the display there comes the clearing up! And what a display!

The mansion shows us two faces - the strong, masculine, grand appearance of the Northern facade and the more gentle, domestic South.
