Granted I wouldn't have minded staying a little longer than we did, but alas, work called us back. And have we been busy, hence the lack of blog posts. This weekend is the last wedding of the season and after that I am looking to get caught up on this here blog thingy. The Adventures of Life. First Camping Trip Post Baby. The morning started out raining, but we were on the beach by dinner. Last weekend we went camping for the first time with the little one. This was kind of our test to see how she would do in a tent and how she would like her new sleeping bag. She loved both - granted next time we might bring a pack-n-play along to help with putting her to sleep, but overall we had a great time! An EARLY morning hike and family photo. The doctors figure the cord played a part in his small size, plus Henry and I aren't that big, so it was no surprise he would be small, but I never thought he would be that tiny! We are so in love, and he is such a good little baby! I can't believe he is already a week old!

We finished it off by going to the Minnesota State Fair with my mom and dad. We got there early on the first day and had great weather, but it did get a little warm in the afternoon. The kids rode about 10 rides each and we ate a bunch of junk while taking it all in. Here is one that we released in Siren. Lara started 1st grade last Friday!

A couple weeks ago we packed our bags and boarded a plane to Orlando, Florida. Henry, the girls, and I flew down on Friday, January 7th, and met my parents in Melbourne that evening.
