theAfterNet: The First Glimmer of an Idea
http://theafternet.blogspot.com/2006/04/first-glimmer-of-idea.html
What if you built a website for the dead and nobody came? Would that be a good thing or a bad thing? Monday, April 17, 2006. The First Glimmer of an Idea. Many years ago, I had a bright idea for a book. What if when you died, your soul lived on? OK, not all that original, you think. That’s the bulwark of most religions. But I extended it further. What if there were no heaven where you could frolic with your childhood pet Skippy? What if you were invisible to the living and even worse, the other dead?

Good Cop, Dead Cop: When Steve Jobs arrives on the AfterNet …
http://goodcop-deadcop.blogspot.com/2011/10/when-steve-jobs-arrives-on-afternet.html
Friday, October 21, 2011. When Steve Jobs arrives on the AfterNet …. 8230; everything will change. Darrin Bell, creator of the comic strip, Candorville. Has his main character being visited by the ghost of Steve Jobs. Yes, it is a case of “too soon” as Jobs admonishes Lamont, but I’d like to think that if anyone would understand the power of the AfterNet, it would be the former CEO of Apple. What if you built a website for the dead and nobody came? Would that be a good thing or a bad thing? Tuesday, April 18, 2006. A Little Dead Time on my Hands. The renovations weren’t finished, but I had gotten far enough to allow myself a break during the winter. I created the structure of the website in Dreamweaver, giving up on the idea of a completely Flash-based website, and I picked YaBB as the back-end for the messages. If you’re not familiar with YaBB. The website design proved quite a challenge be...
