Saturday, November 24, 2012. Because we were strapped after the Argentina trip, we decided to go the cheap route in New York. Instead of renting a car, or taking taxis, we bought a metrocard unlimited pass ($29 each) and rode the subway, tram and bus. Even from the airport to the hotel! It was so fun to be spontaneous and make decisions on the fly. One of us would say, "let's go check out ," and we'd look at the subway map, figure out the route, and go. It was so fun! The weekend was an absolute blast!

This Is Our Joy. Wednesday, April 11, 2012. Maren's Going To Kindergarten. This is Maren at the doctor's office for her kindergarten check up. She passed with flying colors.she was the only one from the 50 kindergarten appointments that knew both her phone number and address! She got multiple shots and she was so brave.the sucker and stickers at the end helped too! After her appointment we went to McDonalds.she totally earned a happy meal!
