I'm an Angry Dieter…. An Apple Kind of Day. October 19, 2009 at 4:48 pm. First off, a quick congratulations to my friend Diana who’s getting married! I just found out this morning and don’t know the details yet, but a trip to LA might be in my future! What a great weekend! I got a nice 1 mile run in last night (not much I know, but I have reconfigured my running schedule to start slow and build up my base…I was adding too much distance before and got burnt out! And a cup of sugar free hot apple cider.

I still can’t believe that I flew to the west coast, saw so many great things, spent time with one of my best friends, and then flew back across the country all in 2.5 DAYS! We did so much so here is a little pictoral recap…. For dinner (we munched on the bread basket and each got a slice of cheesecake. I'm an Angry Dieter…. Archive for August, 2009. I was up all night with a sick hubby, and now I’m not feeling so great myself! Fever, headache, bellyache. Yuck. It’s 1 o’clock and so far I’ve eaten a plain bagel….with nothing on it. Nothing glamorous, nothing to post. Hopefully I will be feeling better tomorrow. I'm an Angry Dieter…. Archive for June, 2009. I had some mangoes that needed to be used, so I decided to make mango bread. I wasn’t too fond of it (some of the mangoes had a “stringy” texture, which I could not stand! But my family sure loved it! I think you could make this using eithe mangoes or peaches, and still end up with great results! I adapted this recipe from Baking with the Boys’. 3/4 cup egg substitute. 3/4 cup canola oil. 1 1/2 cups whole wheat flour. 1 cup all purpose flour. 1 tsp baking soda.
