Sunday, October 21, 2012. Impossible getting two toddlers to sit for a picture. Opal and Stella. Opal says her name Lella, while sticking her tongue all the way out. Thursday, February 16, 2012. Like mother like daughter. Me and Opal in our matching scarves I knit for us over Christmas. Saturday, February 11, 2012. Opal has been waking up at 6 am.at the latest. The good that comes of that is I get to go on a run without the stroller because Jon is still home. In fact, very often Jon will come with Opal in the stroller. Tuesday, June 30, 2015. 5 minutes in the sprinklers. It's been way to long.had to dust this blog off before I started. It's been a while, but I've realized that these kiddos are getting way too big, way too fast, and there is so much that I don't want to forget. Both of the older boys scooted off to Cozzens' Camp for a week and that left Ford and I at home by ourselves for almost a full week. This little boy is a riot. I can't get enough of him. Saturday, May 28, 2011. Jon and I ran a half marathon today in Danville. It's the first half marathon he has run and he did so amazing! I convinced my friend Jana to run and she also kicked my butt! Here we all are starting out.I did the rookie mistake and started out way to fast and by mile six I was regretting it. It's so hard though to hang back with all the adrenaline and nerves. Sunday, August 7, 2011. San Francisco Marathon 2011. I never thought this day would actually come. We've been training for this marathon since Opal was 6 weeks old. The race started around 5:30 am.which sucked, but it was cool to see the city with its lights and the sun slowly coming up. We started on Emarcadero at the piers right in front of the Ferry Building. Briggs is a sweet, kind and tender-hearted little boy with a fierce loyalty to Porter and an undying love for entertaining Ford. He is a great big brother.
