American, b. 1953) has painted landscapes since the 1980s, at first working primarily from her imagination. After a trip to the American Southwest, she decided that some of the desert environments around her were stranger and more compelling than anything she could imagine on her own. She now uses her own photos as reference material, but always interpreted through her unique sense of dramatic surrealism. Oil on linen 74" x 77.5" 2010. Oil on linen 24" x 32" 2011. The Art Room: Diane Hoeptner

http://www.theartroomonline.net/2013/01/diane-hoeptner.html

I'm excited to announce this month's theme: Artists Who Blog- Favorites of 2012. Chosen artists will send me an image or two of their favorite paintings from 2012. I'll also select one or two. The month is off to a great start with a look at the work of Diane Hoeptner. She has chosen "Daffodils on Pattern" as her personal favorite painting from 2012:. Oil on wood 8" x 8" 2012. I'm trying to incorporate pattern into my paintings. This is one of the first times it worked really well. Your choice of your ON...

The Art Room: Ann Feldman

http://www.theartroomonline.net/2013/01/ann-feldman.html

Ann Feldman has picked a still life and a landscape for her favorite paintings of 2012:. 12"x12" oil on hardboard 2012. Autumn on the Lake. 10"x8" oil on canvas mounted on hardboard 2012. Ann Feldman obviously loves to paint boldly colored still life and landscape, but she also loves the paint itself. Is a perfect painting. The composition is dynamic, the brushwork on the apples extravagently pleasurable, with the design on the platter creating a civilizing fence around them. And also check out her.

Wendy Wagner Campbell: Oops, I did it again!

http://wendywagnercampbell.blogspot.com/2015/07/oops-i-did-it-again_27.html

Musings on painting, drawing and other stuff. Monday, July 27, 2015. Oops, I did it again! I invalidated myself. Why do I do that. I always try to be positive but also realistic with the work that I do and the knowledge that I have. Most of my undergrad learning and therefore focus was on modern art movements. I just didn't have an awareness that this realist art world was gaining strength since my graduation and subsequent abandonment of painting. I have a lot to learn and will never stop learning.

Wendy Wagner Campbell: June 2015

http://wendywagnercampbell.blogspot.com/2015_06_01_archive.html

Musings on painting, drawing and other stuff. Wednesday, June 17, 2015. Today was a good day. Below is something I wrote about a week before school ended. I saved for when I felt the time was right to post. Because I have been wrestling with (what I perceive as) my progress, where I think I should. Be, where I want to be by the end of the summer. I realized that I was focusing too much on past and future.what I did/didn't do the last week of school, and what I hope to know after a summer of more study.

Art by Marcela Strasdas : Keeping On and Moving On

https://marcelastrasdas.blogspot.com/2015/04/keeping-on-and-moving-on.html

My Journey in Painting. Tuesday, April 7, 2015. Keeping On and Moving On. I finished the last post by mentioning I had exciting news so I think I'll start with that today. We have for some time now been looking for a house and we finally found THE one that fits our needs and we like! We looked at about 100 houses! It has a lot more space, it is very close to the kids' school and activities and the best part of all is that it has a great space for my studio, full of natural light! Estamos muy entusiasmado...

And watching puddle ducks swim and dive in the street! What they are diving for, I Have no clue. I imagine bugs and worms, but whatever it is, we sure enjoy having ducks and geese in the yard so often. Our dog and two cats like to watch them also. Looking for a good art-related movie to watch? Here is the trailer:.

Wendy Wagner Campbell: Year end tie-in

http://wendywagnercampbell.blogspot.com/2015/06/year-end-tie-in.html

Musings on painting, drawing and other stuff. Saturday, June 13, 2015. If you have read any of my prior posts, you would know that I have been writing for the school blog as well as this one. In the school blog, I try to objectively describe my day. In this one, I can relate my personal experiences- stuff I can't really write on the other. Since it is the end of the school year, another class will be "graduating" and moving on. Take a moment to look them up. Http:/ studioincamminati.blogspot.com/. My pro...

Богатства Елены: декабря 2014

http://elenasriches.blogspot.com/2014_12_01_archive.html

http://elenasriches.blogspot.com/2015_04_01_archive.html
