About me, for what it’s worth. Just gimme a front row seat and nobody gets hurt. Elephant Man Aug. 1st, ’15. August 3, 2015. It’s with Bradley Cooper! Well, it’s what I thought at the time. I had seen the play before – years and years ago (10? 8211; and his decision to go to sleep one last time, after he’d finished the model of the cathedral, was heartbreaking and yet noble and probably the most human thing he could do…. I had no idea what the play was about. I just heard people rave about Wishaw, and its huge success. One tip: do not leave your seat at the end of the play, there is another scene to come, even though I have to admit after seeing it: I would so fail at maths A-levels… LOL. The mice are scratching between walls, the pigeons are diseased and the foxes are beginning to rule the streets. The problem is growing. It’s contagious. it has to be stopped, before it’s too late. About me, for what it’s worth. Just gimme a front row seat and nobody gets hurt. Which turns into a better and better format with time – it’s almost a bit like those brilliant screwball comedies of way back when – The Thin Man for instance. I’m sure that’s mostly down to Nathan Fillion, whose ironic self deprecation certainly is contagious! And now that we have Caskett and judging by the first episode of the new series it didn’t kill the show, this is getting even more brilliant! Not defunct at all!

Books rule, whenever I'm not front-rowing a theatre. This is my second blog after my Theatre and me. Experience – this one is all about the books I read whenever I find the time between work, trips and life in general.😉 And because of all the delightful distractions I am lazy with this one: I promise to add a few lines of how much I liked – or disliked (it happens) – a book. But I’ll take the reviews and summaries from official sites like Amazon. Leave a Reply Cancel reply. Enter your comment here.

Theatre and Local Culture
Theatre and Local Culture. A blog on local theatre and culture in an international age. By the artistic director of Active Cultures, the vernacular theatre of Maryland. Tuesday, February 1, 2011. As I was preparing to interview a prospective intern today, I dug out my tried and true interview schema. As I pulled it out, I realized what a good friend it was. Over the last ten years, I have used these questions/this format to hire people with whom I still work. Delightedly. Do you have any questions for me?

The finest solution to any of life's dilemmas. Next up, as part of the Sherman’s double Christmas helping, is the classic children’s tale The Borrowers taking over the main stage this festive season.
