Sunday, September 1, 2013. Weekend at Deer Valley. Their energy was amazing and it was so much fun to sing and dance the night away. After an eventful start to the evening, once we actually got into the concert we were so glad that we stuck it out. We all agreed that it was one of the best shows we had ever been to and we loved every minute of it. Embracing the hilarity of our situation. Hot chocolate in August never tasted so good. Saturday, November 17, 2012. Bit by the reading bug. A few months ago my co-worker recommended a series that her and my other co-worker love. I was a little skeptical because they are "mormon books". She brought the first one for me to borrow and I have been completely hooked. Good thing there are like 20 books. Last night I sat down to continue reading one that I was about half way through and before I knew it I was done! I had been reading for hours. Hours! Your book group loving mother loves this post!

Tuesday, September 1, 2009. So today i had a small victory to some but to me it was truly a miracle! Even more amazed was So-and-So. The class all cheered as Student spelled it correctly. It was mind-blowing for me! I couldn't stop smiling the rest of the day. It was a great reminder as to why I wish to teach. How wonderful for So and SO! Keep up the good work1. For the past maybe 10 anniversaries of the tragic attacks on the twin towers in New York, I have been have been thinking/pondering on something. Is it really necessary to commemorate. the event every year? Are those who still take specific notice people who directly lost someone that day? It has been about 7 years since I was diagnosed with clinical depression, 5 years since I've been off anti-depressants and it has been six months since I've stopped going to therapy. While six months is nothing compared to 7 years or 5 years, for those who have been diagnosed with depression, six months without therapy is a big deal.

Sunday, March 22, 2009. So my cousin is in the MTC at the present moment and we have so much fun on Saturdays. I lead him on a St. Patty's day hunt but he couldn't figure it out so I had to let him cheat and just give him his prize. He's gonna be a great missionary! I know cuz he's my cousin. Sunday, March 15, 2009. This week was crazy busy and I love it all. I love teaching my 2nd graders and coaching my girls. I'm just ready for it to become a routine instead of stress. SOMEDAY i'm sure.
