Glass Half Full: January 2008

May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in Him" Romans 15:13. Look What My Son Did. One day when Matt is getting under my skin, which happens every now and then being a social butterfly that he is and reminding him to turn this off and that off and to wash his hands and, well, you catch my drift! I need to look on this post and know what a special boy God gave us to raise. Warmed my heart. Matt said confidently, "She knows I have a special diet. Matt did this. My Matt! Just when ...

May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in Him" Romans 15:13. I'm Still Here.Really I Am! Good grief, has it really been over a week since my last post? Again, time is passing, things are happening and I am absorbing every morsel of my summer days. Last weekend we took a trip to Terre Haute to visit my brother and his wife (Jeff and Erin). On Saturday we attended an Indianapolis Colts practice. The guys had fun and Matt actually named off several players. That boy! It's been awhi...

Life with Ash, Ave, & Ayson: April 2010
http://ashandave.blogspot.com/2010_04_01_archive.html
Life with Ash, Ave, and Ayson. A glance into the life of the Tiojanco Family. Friday, April 30, 2010. Asher participates in Awana every Monday night at our church. It is a great time for the children to learn Bible verses, about the Word of God, and make new friends. Being a working mom has made it tricky to get him there, fed, knowing his verse on time every week, but it was a commitment I'm glad we kept. Asher had so much fun and I know he learned a lot! Here he is with all his Cubbies buddies. We had ...

Three Boys and a Wonderful Lady: May 2007
http://daddybergerspeaks.blogspot.com/2007_05_01_archive.html
Three Boys and a Wonderful Lady. Friday, May 4, 2007. Diggin', Singin' and Writin'. Yes, that's what I will be doing this weekend. We have a small 12x14 area in the backyard where we are installing a patio. Last weekend, we went to Menards and picked-up about 2600 lbs. of sand and patio filler. Guess who moved most of it, one 40 lb. bag at a time. Me! Thankfully, my back held out ok, and my chiropractor didn't yell at me. Busy, busy, busy! She's a great music teacher and I know her students will do well.

Three Boys and a Wonderful Lady: Something to ponder from Quitter
http://daddybergerspeaks.blogspot.com/2013/02/something-to-ponder-from-quitter.html
Three Boys and a Wonderful Lady. Wednesday, February 13, 2013. Something to ponder from Quitter. I was reading "Quitter", by John Acuff, and I came across a thought that made me stop and think. Don't you love it when a book can do that? I miss out on spending time with them. I miss special days or trips because I'm involved in a show, or I'm away somewhere instead of at home. This bums me out, and I miss them. There has to be balance. I have to be 'home' when I'm home, and 'there' when I'...He also write...

Three Boys and a Wonderful Lady: October 2008
http://daddybergerspeaks.blogspot.com/2008_10_01_archive.html
Three Boys and a Wonderful Lady. Monday, October 6, 2008. Well, the Cubs. Are out of the playoffs. I'm still a fan, and looking forward to next season. The Nebraska Cornhuskers lost to the Mizzou Tigers (ranked 4th in the nation), but I'm still a fan. In the grand scheme of things, what does a baseball or football season really matter? What really matters is loving and serving Jesus, and sharing the good news of the gospel with others. He deserves our adoration each and every day! Have a great week!
