Today i roll over to 24 weeks. i cannot believe how fast all of this is going. i know, i know. the third trimester will probably drag on. in the mean time, we're just having trouble wrapping our heads around the fact that we're going to be parents really soon! My life as a mrs. and a mama. And a lot of other good stuff, too. Friday, February 4, 2011. Are you ready for your close up? The nugget sure wasn't ready! Our little guy, after days of being super busy and rarely sleeping (or so it seemed), refused to cooperate today. he was tired. he stayed hunkered down with his hands and occasionally his feet covering his sweet face. also in the way? Friday, February 04, 2011. Wednesday, February 2, 2011. Also, stay tuned for photos of our little nugget. we go for...

One Mile at a Time. Road-trips, marathons and the daily commute. Here is a place for you to share in our journey. Thursday, December 19, 2013. I'll close with a short conversation Ella and I had after my mom called to share the news of Great Grandma Elsie's death. Ella: Do you want another hug? Me: I'll take as many as you have to give. Ella: Ok. . . I only have two more. December 19, 2013 at 11:43 PM. Beautiful writing, Emily, and a beautiful picture of your grandma! I get what you mean about missing so...

My life as a mrs. and a mama. And a lot of other good stuff, too. Sunday, July 24, 2011. As usual, i'm late with the update! When week 13 rolled around it meant we officially had a 3 month old. i had one of the MAs at work weigh him and measure him since we don't have another appointment with the pediatrician until he is 4 months. he weighed in at a whopping 12 lbs, 5 oz and measured 23.5 inches long. This was taken while salem slept in my office. he is a lazy assistant. :). I love this picture so much!

One Mile at a Time. Road-trips, marathons and the daily commute. Here is a place for you to share in our journey. Friday, February 17, 2012. I have never been very consistent with blogging, and recently I've done much more with facebook and sending photos the the grandparents directly from my iTouch. I have become terrible at blogging. It doesn't seem fair that our Kate is now almost 5 months old, and there is almost nothing written about her. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile.

Wednesday, December 23, 2009. He Gave (And She Gave). We attended our Christmas Eve service at WFC tonight. It was a wonderful service, and the theme of the message was simply that He gave. God gave us His one and only son, Jesus, as the best gift that we can receive this Christmas season. We hope that you all have a wonderful Christmas season! NOTE: If the above video does not load well, please click on this link. To view the video on YouTube. Thanks! Wednesday, December 16, 2009. During the church serv...

Jackson, Samantha and Xavier. It's never dull. 14 months, 14 things. Miracle of miracles, this one is actually on time! 1 He loves writing utensils, enjoys scribbling and gets indignant and cranky when we take away his pen (pencil/crayon/marker). 2 Now that Sam is out of school we have aspirations of getting him on an actual schedule. That would be lovely. 3 He recently started climbing onto the furniture. This scares the mama. His favorite spot is the club chair in the living room. 13 Xavy is entirely b...

The Howell Family: August 2009
http://kshowellfam.blogspot.com/2009_08_01_archive.html
Monday, August 31, 2009. This morning, I took Lydia to her "school" to visit her Children's Day Out teachers for this year. On the way to school, Hannah and Lydia were sitting in their respective car seats. It is not at all unusual to hear Lydia start doing something that makes Hannah giggle and pretty soon they are both laughing - Lydia to get the giggle reaction from Hannah and Hannah laughing at how silly her older sister is. Or "Hannah - why aren't you laughing? Hope that you all have a great week!

The Germans are strange and must be observed. Consider me your Jane Goodall. Sunday, August 22, 2010. Dear Harper - Month 20. Sorry this is late, kiddo. You've been enjoying the company of this fellow here:. Maybe you'd like to see a photo of the two of you together:. Your love for butter is bigger than ever, and is your love for cakies (cookies), pilch (milk) and shoosh (juice . or shoes . or tchüss, the German word for good bye). You talk a lot, but we usually don't understand you. It's...The Cabbage P...
