As I Was Passing: Wordsworth
http://as1waspassing.blogspot.com/2015/07/wordsworth.html
As I Was Passing. The times they are a-changing. Saturday, July 18, 2015. I did read the Alfoxden and Grasmere diaries when I was in Hua Hin (I think I bought it in 2010 but let it lie unread on my shelf for three years before I picked it up, along with The Prelude). So yeah, I knew a little bit. I liked this biography.the telling of his long years.the changes that time wrought in him. The biographer was obviously a fan. He softened Wordsworth's faults, without excusing them. View my complete profile.

As I Was Passing: December 2014
http://as1waspassing.blogspot.com/2014_12_01_archive.html
As I Was Passing. The times they are a-changing. Saturday, December 27, 2014. Three in the morning. And this is the hour, the moment of truth, always the moment of truth, when everything slips into something else.in sleep, we go deep. Awake, well, the mask slips and there we are, scars and all, ugly, horrifying, but real. So real. I am weary of all these masks. No I'm not that tough, in fact not tough at all. Can I stop pretending now? Sunday, December 21, 2014. Billy Joel - And so It Goes. And what I'm ...

As I Was Passing: June 2015
http://as1waspassing.blogspot.com/2015_06_01_archive.html
As I Was Passing. The times they are a-changing. Sunday, June 14, 2015. There is a silence out there, a silence, and I don't know how far it stretches, or how deep it goes. A silence, that encompasses everyone and everything. My phone, it does not buzz, at least, it does not buzz with messages or mail from the people I want to hear from. Elliott is pretty sick. I need to inject some cough mixture down his throat. I need to write letters. There are letters to be written. Today, I discovered Aruna Shields.

As I Was Passing: And just like that, March is upon us.

As I Was Passing. The times they are a-changing. Tuesday, March 03, 2015. And just like that, March is upon us. It's late and I'm tired. I've gone through one pullout (with a fine-tooth comb) and now I have to do the same for another. My eyes are scratchy and I just want to go home curl up in bed and watch an inane movie over iTunes or YouTube or whatever. Either that or read Love, Nina and then fall asleep. Funnily enough, although it's just Tuesday, it feels like it's been a hard week. If Mum were alive.

As I Was Passing: Scattered
http://as1waspassing.blogspot.com/2015/05/scattered.html
As I Was Passing. The times they are a-changing. Sunday, May 10, 2015. When something feels evil, trust your gut instinct. It's almost always right. And when people make you feel guilty for feeling what you feel, trust it more. Every time someone has made me feel guilty (or maybe, I made myself feel that) for being put off and disgusted by a person, that person has turned out to be bad news after all. Things seem so scattered lately. The moment I get back into KL I tense up and have difficulty sleepi...

As I Was Passing: February 2015
http://as1waspassing.blogspot.com/2015_02_01_archive.html
As I Was Passing. The times they are a-changing. Sunday, February 22, 2015. Today I finally finished my obstreperous novel. When I finally got down to writing again, the story poured out of me and I didn't quit until I was done. And that was when I realised. It was not about completing the novel. It was about hammering it into shape. Now I shall have to copy what I wrote into a word document. And commence: editing! Now let's see if I can whip it into shape. Monday, February 09, 2015. And all the ones.

As I Was Passing: Meanwhile, back at the farm...
http://as1waspassing.blogspot.com/2015/03/meanwhile-back-at-farm.html
As I Was Passing. The times they are a-changing. Sunday, March 01, 2015. Meanwhile, back at the farm. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). I am a product of long corridors, empty sunlit rooms, upstairs indoor silences, attics explored in solitude, distant noises of gurgling cisterns and pipes and the noise of wind under the tiles. Also, of endless books. (CS Lewis). View my complete profile. And just like that, March is upon us. Meanwhile, back at the farm. A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens. The Summit...

As I Was Passing: May 2015
http://as1waspassing.blogspot.com/2015_05_01_archive.html
As I Was Passing. The times they are a-changing. Friday, May 15, 2015. I didn't abandon you, you know. You left. And if I didn't pester you, it was not because I didn't love you, but because I was tired. I had work to deal with. I had my own stuff. And I figured you would resurface when you ready to. But no, you wouldn't. Everything was lost, everything dissolved, everything torn to shreds. I know my love doesn't count. And if we don't ever meet again, I want you to read this and know this. Hopefully the...
