Tuesday, September 20, 2011. A very cool day. John and I went to the Texas Tech home opener the other day. It was a very cool day. The day started with us getting there way too early. Anytime John and I travel together, we make it a point to get there ridiculously early. Like two old men. Low and behold we are standing right where the football players start their "Raider Walk" to the stadium. Very neat. But here is where it gets very cool. I got to give him a high five. Wednesday, August 19, 2009. We had a great summer. My kids are pumped about school starting. I am also pretty excited. This week we have been having In-Service. Today as I stared out across a room full of high school teachers, I was humbled by the sight. What an awesome group I have the pleasure to work with! Sure, the money is not great.and sure, the time they spend away from their own families is tough.but, the rewards in a profession like this is like none other. Have a great year!

Sunday, September 11, 2011. I am having my absolutely best start at work this Fall. This is year 4 for us at CHS. I am very proud of our students and staff. They really are the best. Will there be issues and/or drama? Yes Will we work through them and always do what's best for kids? Yes Just know that I am really enjoying this years' start. Kristen Jill is doing volleyball and cross-country this year as a 7th grader! She is doing great. Where did my lil' girl go? Yes Is it a work in progress? A very luck...

LIVE SIMPLY. LAUGH OFTEN. LOVE MUCH. Monday, November 28, 2011. Well first of all I had a great Thanksgiving! Lol I was stuck in the aisle with some awesome ladies and all we did was laugh and giggle the whole time. Spent the next three days decorating the house for Christmas. I love this holiday! I enjoyed taking the kids to see Sant downtown. It was a little rainy but it cleared off and it was a perfect evening. Sate chili, popcorn and ice cream! They then said PINK EYE! So as of January 1st, 2015 we spent the day lying around the camper, watching football, a lot of football games. I think I left the house one time to go get a chocolate shake for us all. yummy!
