Wednesday, July 15, 2015. Have you ever wondered why things seem to be so hard sometimes? I have been thinking about that a lot lately because things are REALLY hard! Some days it seems like we haven't made any progress at all. Actually, it's most days! President Herrington called his In Field Rep almost a week ago and we didn't get a reply. I wrote to the person in the MTC who handles that kind of thing and she didn't reply. I kept thinking, don't they know how serious this is! We could not believe it!

Sunday, May 31, 2015. Be a good fixer! We have been travelling for three weeks and forgot that we needed an adapter for our American electrical items when we went to French Guadeloupe. I solved the problem by just not washing my hair so I didn't need the blow dryer or the curling iron. (And it looked like I didn't use them, too! Grandpa had to shave, tho, so he was more creative. He figured out how to take a lamp cord apart and "plug" his razor in to it! I am so grateful for him! Friday, May 22, 2015.

Friday, October 24, 2014. When you go on a mission, you sacrifice a lot. You leave a comfortable home, and probably lots of clothes and gadgets. You also leave behind loved ones. It can be very hard to leave all that behind, but usually it will all be there when you get back. Is that too much to ask of a person? To leave your family when they are in such need of your help? Friday, April 24, 2015. When we got our mission call, our assignment said, MLS: Member Leader Support. I don't feel like we have done to do too much of that in Martinique. They are strong here. Sunday, August 16, 2015. This was a hard week. We had twenty new missionaries come in and 21 go out. That meant a LOT of work! We fed, we transported, we taught, we laughed, we cried and we hugged! I really needed this hug. Max was baptised on Sunday and "He who has no name" was born on Tuesday. We got the call at 6:00 am. We were so happy! Sunday, February 22, 2015. Tout est bien. All is well. I learned a new phrase this week! We were singing "Come, Come ye Saints", (in French of course) and this phrase stuck with me. Monday, August 31, 2015. It's the Little Things that Count. I just found some more notes from the District Conference that Elder Cornish spoke at. He asked us, how many of you know what happened 100 years ago? We all knew that it would have been 1915 but no one knew the significance. Turnrs out it was the end of World War I. Up early to have breakfast 1hr before workout as Jillian recommends and poor old Sky was pacing as I’m usually up and out but she hung on and off we went for a walk and back for Phase 1 Disc 2 I used weights again today and worked up another sweat so its doing something. Then tonight Carl asked me if I fancied a run at the gym so I did two 1km runs.

Thursday, March 21, 2013. London turned six months old! I love it when I find Von has put himself down for the occasional nap. I miss the days where he used to take a three hour nap everyday. Or when I find him reading to himself. Or holding his baby sister's hand. The kids got to feed the animals, brush the horses. It was rainy and muddy, and I only packed one pair of shoes for each of them for the entire weekend, so every step they took I just cringed. It was SO muddy. I love the "Frankenstein" walk!

Yesterday Deegan drank so much pedilite that when he was sitting in his highchair eating dinner he peed through his diaper and shorts and pee came running down his leg and on to the floor. When we went to get him out of his chair we saw the puddle of pee on the floor and couldn't figure out where it came from!
