River Birch Lane LLC. Coleman's Cottage, a vintage Ozark stone cottage, is located on 40 acres in Dent County, just 4 miles from Salem, Missouri. This hand-hewed cottage was built by Josiah Coleman and was finished around 1952. Josiah's name is carved at the entrance of the second story door. Restoration of Coleman's cottage took more than a year. Original materials were utilized, however the old oak beams were replaced with new ones to ensure that the three-level cottage would be structurally sound.
