warmth and light: April 2011
http://warmthandlight.blogspot.com/2011_04_01_archive.html
Saturday, April 23, 2011. Of hearth and forest. A recent weekend, saw the invitation to spend some time in the 'green goodness' of the hills. Gingerhobo and I were the guests of dear friends who have long been promised a family shoot. It was a much-needed chance to kick back with a bevvy, a crackling fire and damned fine conversation, and most importantly, be treated to an experience of work that didn't feel like work! Lily, pensive on the stairs. Scary baby. run! Finn and his Mamma. Links to this post.

Tuesday, February 22, 2011. Nourish part 2 - to honour and be gentle with the self. Tis my next installment in the 'nourish me' project, conceived by the uber-wonderful Awakened Heart. We are to post a picture of something we've done each week that shows how we've self-nourished. Sure, I'm not quite keeping to the weekly deadline, nor can I sum up all the good stuff in one photo, but I figure it's still doing me good! If I ask him nicely I should be able to share some of his work soon. My efforts at maki...

http://warmthandlight.blogspot.com/2010_09_01_archive.html
Tuesday, September 28, 2010. Tracey, Chris, Abbey and (the long-awaited arrival of) baby boy. Tracey is a dear friend, who has worked tirelessly facilitating women's rite of passage celebrations, so it was a true honour and pleasure to help chronicle and honour her second pregnancy, pre and post-natal. With Abbey, about 6 months. Chris connecting with the mystery bump. Now, about 8 and a half months. Cheeky, relishing being pregnant. And feelin the love. Abbey, the proud big sis. Monday, July 18, 2011. Inspirations Series 1: Joyce Tenneson. Here is the first of my 'Inspirations' series; a chance to nod and gush with gratitude to those photographers, painters and other sources who have been pivotal in shaping my creative style, passions and view of the world. In my mid twenties I picked up a 'Black and White'. The photos wriggled under my skin, and resonated on a much broader and deeper level I didn't understand until about a decade later, when I re-discovered her work. The yo...
