Hodge Podge Ramblings: Hobbies
http://hodgepodgeramblings.blogspot.com/2012/05/hobbies.html
Monday, May 21, 2012. It's been weighing on me to abandon my house, let the kids completely destroy it while I drown my self in my 'hobbies'. My list is never ending! I want to do everything at once. Actually I have such a list of them that it is honestly overwhelming. I never know which one to pick up and do. I am never in the mood to just do one of them. But of course each one could use some perfection. Anyway here is a list of what I have already started and what I still hope to do:. I wanna create my...

Hodge Podge Ramblings: Crock Pot Inspirations (Pinterest: Day 4)
http://hodgepodgeramblings.blogspot.com/2012/06/crock-pot-inspirations-pinterest-day-4.html
Friday, June 1, 2012. Crock Pot Inspirations (Pinterest: Day 4). As part of my "New Pinterest A Day" I mentioned trying out this tasty looking mac and cheese. As well as this carmel made easy idea. When mine reached that consistency it was rather soupy still. But because I didn't do as the recipe stated I ended up with macaroni and cheese that looked like this:. As far as the Carmel goes I was quite impressed. A simple can of sweetened condensed milk cooked in the crock pot all day created this carmel.

Hodge Podge Ramblings: What If?
http://hodgepodgeramblings.blogspot.com/2012/07/what-if.html
Thursday, July 26, 2012. Wow these words hit me like a ton of bricks. What if your blessings come through raindrops. What if Your healing comes through tears. What if a thousand sleepless nights are what it takes to know You're near. What if trials of this life are Your mercies in disguise. What if my greatest disappointments. Or the aching of this life. Is the revealing of a greater thirst this world can't satisfy. What if trials of this life. The rain, the storms, the hardest nights. Seriously, what if?

Hodge Podge Ramblings: We Are Glass
http://hodgepodgeramblings.blogspot.com/2012/07/we-are-glass.html
Thursday, July 12, 2012. Life is so fragile and I feel all to often we take it completely for granted. Not only can we be caught hurting our own lives but we are often caught up in the pain of others. Every individual should be handled like a delicate piece of glass. Remembering even the slightest harsh word could be the punch that shatters. We break fast, cause we are glass. With every individual who may come and go I try to keep this in mind ". Try not to judge, 'cause we've walked down different paths,.

Hodge Podge Ramblings: Carmel Heath Dip/Frosting
http://hodgepodgeramblings.blogspot.com/2013/01/carmel-heath-dipfrosting.html
Saturday, January 19, 2013. This is the BEST dip, not a creation of my own but worth sharing. What's even more wonderful is it really is more then just a dip. It can be frosting for cup cakes or really used for anything that might satisfy your fancy. 1 package of cream cheese. 3/4 cup brown sugar. 1/2 bag heath brickle (typically only found at Walmart in the chocolate chip area-if you can't find the brickle, 3-4 heath bars crushed will work just as well). Hodge Podge Ramblings: Potatoes O' Brien
http://hodgepodgeramblings.blogspot.com/2012/06/potatoes-o-brien.html
Tuesday, June 5, 2012. We use these potatoes in so many different ways and for a variety of different meals but I couldn't stomach the impact the cost of buying them so often. I broke down and decided I was going to make and freeze them myself. Seriously simple! I paid less then $10 for the ingredients that filled two gallon zip bags. each containing 12 cups of the potatoes o'brien. For this store bought size (pictured) it contains 9 servings of only 3/4 cup each and costs roughly $4 for one bag. Fun Fac...

Hodge Podge Ramblings: Taggy Blanket
http://hodgepodgeramblings.blogspot.com/2013/09/taggy-blanket.html
Monday, September 9, 2013. What is a taggy blanket? These are wonderful to have for babies. All three of my babies have had their own and I just couldn't rave about them enough. These are so simple to make. You just need a couple pieces of fabric and some ribbon. I turn my fabric inside out and sew as if i'm going to be sewing a bag. I fold my pieces of ribbon in half and put them in like the picture and then sew all the way around all but one side. Then turn ride side out and sew the last side.
