Much Ado About Nothing: October 2012
http://hayslin.blogspot.com/2012_10_01_archive.html
Much Ado About Nothing. Wednesday, October 10, 2012. This past weekend, my sweet husband and I made my yearly pilgrimage back to the Mothership. Auburn. Glorious Auburn. From the moment we drove into town, everything went wrong. But did I stay until the bitter end? Absolutely. I sang the fight song as the defeated players piled back into the locker room. And I was thrilled to go downtown afterward, even if it meant hanging out with a bunch of Arkansas Hogs. Links to this post. Sometimes it's more serious.

Much Ado About Nothing: Into the Woods, Part I
http://hayslin.blogspot.com/2013/02/into-woods-part-i.html
Much Ado About Nothing. Sunday, February 24, 2013. Into the Woods, Part I. A few weeks ago, Alex and I joined a new church- Grace Fellowship Presbyterian. Our parents joined us as the congregation welcomed us into their fold, and we have been really thrilled to be a part of this fantastic church community. 99% of the time, that is. See, my dear friend Clay, the youth minister at GFPC,. The cabins are heated, he said. We'll hardly be outside, he said. How naive I was. Of our heating situation. Note: outdo...

Much Ado About Nothing: May 2012
http://hayslin.blogspot.com/2012_05_01_archive.html
Much Ado About Nothing. Sunday, May 27, 2012. I held it together all week. Even with a debilitating bout with two kidney stones resulting in a huge delay in all the things that needed to be done. I held it together Friday night, when Lauren gave a speech that made the whole house misty-eyed. I thought at that moment that I wouldn’t make it through the weekend. I held it together as I listened to Dr. Thompson’s emotional charge to Alex and the congregation, as Dad and I stood in the vestibule wa...And eve...

Southern Style & Living: March 2011
http://southernstyleandliving.blogspot.com/2011_03_01_archive.html
Southern Style and Living. Thursday, March 31, 2011. Here's a different take on ice tea that combines the health benefits of green tea with the sweet tang of lemonade. Even better, it's extremely. Pour 1 cup brewed green tea over a glass of ice. Add a splash of fresh lemonade, and garnish with a mint sprig (optional). Each serving only has 14 calories, plus it's loaded with antioxidants. Wednesday, March 30, 2011. Every car you pass is yellow, door knobs, sidewalks, and roads are all yellow, it's crazy!

Southern Style and Living. Thursday, June 9, 2011. It's time I decided what my next read is going to be. Not knowing much about the Pioneer Woman other than a few of her delicious recipes, I was interested in learning more about what her life is like as the Pioneer Woman, so I thought this would be my chance. I've heard many good things about this book on other blogs, so I can't wait to get started! The Pioneer Woman: Black Heels to Tractor Wheels- A Love Story. What's on your summer reading list?

Southern Style & Living: Mustard
http://southernstyleandliving.blogspot.com/2011/06/mustard.html
Southern Style and Living. Monday, July 11, 2011. This mustard is delicious! I first discovered it on a turkey sandwich I ordered from the Gourmet Shoppe. I kept raving about the mustard my Mom surprised me by asking what mustard they use and bought me a jar. I don't make sandwiches at home on a regular basis, but I discovered I like dipping pretzels in the mustard for a snack! This is a "uniquely sharp" mustard with a little bit of spice!
