I have a thing for recycling simple glass jars and using them around my home. Glass jars are just so versatile and very easy (not to mention cheap) to come by. As you already know, I like to make outdoor lanterns out of mason jars. Jars are perfect for storing pantry items, too. If you want some unique labeling for your jars, try chalkboard paint! Dates are a fantastic snack food and are a staple in our house for taking care of those late night sweet cravings. Since dates are classified as a fruit, they are full of nutritional goodness. Date and Oatmeal Muffins:. 1 cup rolled oats. 1 can Ayam coconut cream (about 1 cup). 1 cup whole wheat flour. 1 tsp baking powder. 1 cup pureed dates. 1-2 tbsp water from soaked dates.
