Anyways, for those interested (& mainly for my future knowledge) here's what's been happening with my ever expanding belly. 32 weeks 3 days. Total weight gain/loss: around 22 pounds. Best moment this week: Hearing Bug's heartbeat. Food cravings: Nothing really. Gender: In the words of B "We don't know. It's a Surprise! Labor Signs: A few Braxton Hicks. Belly Button in or out?

Monday, May 14, 2012. I've been trying to get around to posting this entry for several weeks now. almost 6 to be exact; however, as any new mommy can tell you - free time isn't easy to come by. So without further adue we would like to INTRODUCE you to our newest family member. James Allen was born on Thursday, April 5th & weighed in at 7 pounds, 19-3/4 inches. He is loved by everyone, especially his big sister :-). To come but for now I must go, tend to a little boy who needs his mommy. Verse Of The Day.

Tuesday, March 6, 2012. 35 weeks and counting. a lot of Miss B. Total weight gain/loss: around 24 pounds. All maternity clothes and have decided that I will have to start wearing sweatpants or dresses exclusively soon because I refuse to buy more jeans and the ones I have are beginning to cut off my circulation :-). Best moment this week: Going to B's Big Sister Class at the hospital (pics below). Food cravings: Nothing really. Gender: Still have NO idea. but we shall see soon. Belly Button in or out?

Friday, November 7, 2014. We surprised him with a trip to Portland and the zoo. Inviting cousin's, friends, and grandparents to join too. It was a fun weekend and one to remember. We stayed at the Washington Square Embassy Suites which worked out perfectly. My parents stayed too and brought Isaiah. The Franklin clan met us that morning at the zoo. Going to the pool. Kaitlyn, Abby, Samuel, Madalyn, Austin holding Nathan and Reuben. Missing Evan and Isaiah. Love my Mom and Mom-in-law. Chris and "no name".

So basically, we built boxes in our yard and will be layering mulch, newspaper, cardboard, compost, and organic soil to keep the weeds to a minimum. But first, we cooked last year’s compost using old glass windows and garbage bags. We admit to being lazy gardeners last year, but to our amazement, we still have plenty of spring harvest!
