Although it’s great to have such an illustrious name associated with the TBG, the majority of the current gardens were actually designed and planted by local firm Martin Wade Landscape Architects. The Garden Wanderer: Tough little guys

http://thegardenwanderer.blogspot.com/2013/02/tough-little-guys.html

Tuesday, February 19, 2013. During the first warm spell, I inspected the garden and discovered that all sorts of plants had put out fresh growth, or broken out in tender bud. Mostly the usual suspects, such as snowdrops and hellebores, but still I cringed at the thought of what was to come for these little guys. Here are a few before and after pictures, comparing plants before and after the severe unprotected cold cycles. The wonder of plants will never cease to amaze me. March 12, 2013 at 1:15 AM. Thank...

The Garden Wanderer: November 2012

http://thegardenwanderer.blogspot.com/2012_11_01_archive.html

Saturday, November 17, 2012. Wim van Wassenhove’s Garden, Belgium. After 4 years of living in Belgium, I realized, to my great dismay, that Belgian gardens have been greatly under-represented on this blog. Isn’t it so often true that we ignore what we have at home and look away for inspiration? In my defense, I think I can explain why this happened. Unfortunately, most of his work is in private gardens and estates, and therefore not accessible to the lowly blogger. Where I found this picture. Moving from...

Evely Ustavi aiajutud: jaanuar 2016

http://iluaed.blogspot.com/2016_01_01_archive.html

Linna aed: terrassi peenar. Valge peenra teine aasta. Valge pee...

Evely Ustavi aiajutud: Valge peenra reportaaž

http://iluaed.blogspot.com/2016/08/valge-peenra-reportaaz.html

http://kertinaplo.blogspot.com/2012_12_01_archive.html

2012 december 4., kedd. A Kertbarát Magazinban megjelent cikkeim. A blog képei igazán csak.

http://agardendiary.blogspot.com/2012/10/before-rain.html

Friday, October 26, 2012. Posted by Hortus Carmeli. Beautiful time in your garden. Im discovering Molinias anew. The ones in the first photo will become a gold color, yes? October 27, 2012 at 3:45 PM. Thank you very much. This year the weather was exceptionally mild, so the garden is exceptionally beautiful. Those three ones in the first picture are Molinia caerulea Variegata. At the end of the season they become a gold color. October 28, 2012 at 10:21 PM. October 31, 2012 at 3:43 AM. The Garden Wars

Sunday, April 3, 2011. Since it has been raining so much and we haven't been able to plant anything or fear of it washing away we have been planning. We did get the cold frame planted before the rain hit! So we are waiting on that now. Hopefully all the rain is good for it. I found a nice little tool that calculates exactly how many of each kind of plant you will need to be self sufficient. Its great and kind of daunting if you plug in peas or beans for a family of 5 like ours. Here is the link. In fact ...
