Thursday, July 22, 2010. My Sweet Little Jy-Jy Turned 6! She sure did. She was so excited that she was in our room at 6:30 am to open her presents. Our tradition is to let the kids come into our room the morning of their birthday and they get to open their presents on our bed. Wednesday, May 26, 2010. Disneyland and So Forth. We really liked the new "Toy Story Mania" ride. We waited in line FOREVER for it on Sunday, but when we went back by on Tuesday the wait wasn't quite so long. This Mr. Potato Head would talk with people in the line. H3 and H1 were in the right spot at the right time on Tuesday. H1 rode Space Mountain twice, and this is what he did both times (DH had to pull a face for the camera):. Sunday, June 23, 2013. Kallie joined the swim team this summer. It has been tough! The water is freezing, and it is early for us! But she has stuck with it, even though it is not easy for her. She already shaved 5 seconds off her freestyle time. She works hard and even has a six pack! We are now early to bed people, lights are out at 8:30pm! Maybe one night we will be able to make it to Sonic for shakes. I love this picture! She is still working on the side breathing. Getting ready for the Breaststroke.

Monday, June 8, 2009. Accident Site and Other Scenery. Northeast Texas sprouts lots of lovely roadside wildflowers. Here is a shot from a highway offramp. The last photo I shot in the local cemetery where I took a walk one evening after a long day in dusty wharehouses. What a parallel to spend the day in dusty environs of stacked crates and old engines and then come to this tranquil and lovely place full of memories of the living and fresh flora. Sunday, May 19, 2013. Spring Break in Alabama. For spring break, the girls and I went with my Mom down to visit Mikey and Shannon in Birmingham, AL. We did a lot of nothing, and it was awesome! The kids played together, we went to the zoo one day, and the "American" library. Patch called it that because it has an American flag out front. These girls look very much alike!
