6 Upper Garrabost is a traditionally built picturesque Hebridean croft house, with stunning sea views in a quiet crofting village, six miles from Stornoway. This pretty self catering cottage is spacious, newly renovated it offers luxurious accommodation and sleeps four people comfortably. Buzzards are common around Garrabost, but we can also boast Otters, Kestrels and Seals. The islands are famous for spectacular scenery, wonderful empty beaches and unrivalled sunsets. There is a regular bus service (except Sundays) to Stornoway and Portnaguran from the top of the road (about mile away) and in addition buses stop outside the house twice daily. Bayble beach is two miles away; it has a delightful sandy beach, a pier for fishing, a small harbour for boats and good parking.
