The finale was very interesting. you could not have have picked two totally different artists to the finale. jessica is an urban vocalist with strong whitney houston type vocals. and phil is an acoustic player – a little more singer songwriter with an obvious dave matthews influence. It is not even close – jessica is a better vocalist by a mile. but phil is a better performer. I think phil wins. But jessica gets a 9. Phil gets a 7.
