My experience with the Georgia State Patrol officers is that they tend to be completely impervious to my tears or batting eyelashes; "What's the point of "looking" young and being beautiful if I'm going to get traffic tickets anyhow? Wow I didn't even have to convince him, or be my normal "flirty" (as Chris calls it) self to persuade him to see things my way! He then ask...

Monday, July 31, 2006. How funny is it that I physically write down what I plan to do each hour of everyday? Seriously, every evening I write down on a sheet of paper every single thing that I hope to accomplish within each hour of the next day! So, I always have a list or schedule next to me at any given time. Unless, of course, I'm hanging out with family or friends. That time is sacred, and cannot be interrupted. I won't allow it to be measured by the hands of a clock. Posted by tamigill @ 2:32 PM.

Sunday, November 26, 2006. It's ALL about Facebook. Thanks to my friend Josh. I am completely, utterly, obsessed with Facebook. It's like a classier, more user-friendly Myspace. I love it! If you're around my age, you'll also notice that facebook has a larger group of people in our generation than many of the other online journal sites. Check it out. I'm sure you'll be as pleasantly surprised (and possibly as obsessed) as I was! Posted by tamigill @ 6:51 PM. Links to this post. Saturday, November 25, 2006.

Sunday, December 31, 2006. Update (1/1/06 - 11:05pm). Please see La Shawn Barber's Happy New Year! What a year. I was just perusing CNN.com and I noticed the annual year-end review. Below the fold of the page. It amazes me what we Americans consider to be the most "important" news of the year. I just want to know why Paul McCartney's split from his wife was even included as a choice? The top news stories of the year in my opinion and in no particular order include the horrible Sago Mine disaster. Everyon...

Tuesday, August 29, 2006. I smiled a lot. This past weekend. More than I have in quite some time! By Saturday, EVERYONE in my home was finally feeling better. I don't take a healthy household for granted as it's only the case for about 35% the year. Saturday was my grandmother's 75th birthday celebration. My mom invited about 30 family members to all meet at a local eatery and surprise my grandmother! She can do whatever she wants at this point and everyone understands! Brought tears to my eyes; I wasn't...

Thursday, June 29, 2006. Change is gonna come. My husband's aunt is getting a little better. She's still having a tough time, but we're thankful for any progress that we find out about. Thanks for your prayers. Oh well, it keeps people on their toes and keeps everyone working as hard as they can. I'm speaking for myself, mostly. My hubby is officially home from his law school program at UGA! Posted by tamigill @ 8:11 PM. Links to this post. Monday, June 26, 2006. God Bless You. Until another day. I think...

Thursday, September 21, 2006. IPod vs Zune: Price War? This morning, Microsoft announced the launching of their new product, "Zune". The Zune is Microsoft's answer to Apple's iPod. Image courtesy of Engadget.com. But as of yesterday evening it was still available in the MP3 player category listing of Walmart.com! Your move, Microsoft. Posted by tamigill @ 1:32 PM. Monday, January 29, 2007. My friend Josh Cook posted a transcript of a podcast. Entitled "Mr. Manners’ Quick and Dirty Tips for a More Polite Life". I agree with his statement that this definitely needs to be shared with everyone! If you are in my presence, there aren't very many ways to send me over the edge anymore. Once you have kids, your tolerance increases exponentially. But here are a couple of sure-fire ways to ensure that you will never be invited to spend time around me EVER again:. I'm not mak...
