Aviation News and Events. Friday, August 14, 2015. Incident occurred August 14, 2015 in Florida Everglades. Authorities responded to a small plane that was forced to land on a dirt road in the Florida Everglades in Parkland Friday morning. Two people were aboard the Cessna when it made the emergency landing, U.S. Coast Guard officials said. The two people were hoisted to safety and no one was injured, officials said.
