Friday, October 31, 2014. And the award goes to. Another Halloween under our belts and I finally did what I have wanted to do for years.make all the kids' costumes! It took a little creativity and a lot of mommy manipulation.but we eventually got 3 finished costumes. Riley told me months ago he wanted to be a ghost.and I refused to just put a white sheet with 2 holes over his head.he didn't like this at first but it grew on him through the night. And then someone said."OK! She gets best costume award!

Wednesday, May 13, 2015. Tate's Last Day of Preschool! Today was Tate's last day of preschool! Next year he will attend PreK at the same school. He will go everyday in the morning. Tate never did well at homeschooling, which is why we enrolled him preschool, and I wasn't sure if he would even do well with a "real" teacher.but he has excelled and grown so much in the last 10 months! At the beginning of the year he didn't' know (or acted like he didn't) alphabet letters and he wore 3T clothes.

Thursday, December 18, 2014. We decided this year to continue the "real tree" tradition but raise the bar a little bit and cut it down ourselves! I knew the kids would love it and I wanted to sneak in a family photo, since we didn't have time this fall. When we got to the farm, I explained we were looking for the "best tree here" and of coarse Riley was like "challenge accepted! The children scattered in a vast field of christmas trees.only to be noticed by their yells. And Blakely was technically lost.

He is officially the size of a 6 month old who wears 12 month clothing! He loves to coo and "talk" and he is starting to razz. But a few months ago, I started thinking that things needed to change. I am a good mom and I love my children so much, but I started to notice a change in me when I worked 3 days a week as opposed to none.
