The latest on Wendy's progress…. We had another good meeting with the oncologist yesterday. She had met with the pathologist during the week and they had looked at the results from the surgery together. They both agreed that the chemo and surgery had completely removed everything nasty. I am continuing with herceptin until August which will help to prevent the cancer returning in the future and so both were agreed that radiotherapy is not now necessary! November 30, 2012. The latest on Wendy's progress…. All posts for the month January, 2013. I had my eighth treatment of herceptin last Monday which went well and another routine heart scan on Friday. I next see the consultant in two weeks on the 11th Feb followed by another treatment. The girls and Jon are enjoying life being a bit more normal. Amy suddenly piped up last week, “I think I’m getting my real Mummy back! January 27, 2013. Posted by wendylangford on January 27, 2013. No news yet…. Join 61 other followers.

The latest on Wendy's progress…. 8220;I see no malignant cells within this infiltrate” concludes the report that the oncologist had printed off for us to frame! We still don’t know what caused the lump but it does not contain any cancer and so no further investigations (eg scans) are necessary. To say we are relieved is an understatement. Thank you so much to everyone who has prayed, sent messages, phoned, encouraged and supported us again over the last three weeks! Have a very Happy Easter! Have been th...
Happy Christmas!! | Langford blog

The latest on Wendy's progress…. We’ve almost made it! 8 hours to go! The last three weeks started well, with the week following my last herceptin treatment feeling really bright and having lots of energy. I then suddenly ground to a halt and have pottered on since, enjoying watching the girls sing in their choirs in various locations around Salisbury, but frustrated with having to take life at a much slower pace. HAPPY (AND HEALTHY) CHRISTMAS! December 24, 2012. December 24, 2012. December 24, 2012.

Wednesday, August 14, 2013. Oregon Adventure Part II. This was the view from our hotel room. It was pretty sweet right on the beach. The hotel had a nice pool too. The ocean water was too cold to even wade in but the pool was nice. The next day we stuck around Seaside for awhile. In the morning we went to the Seaside Aquarium. And went shopping on the main street there. In the afternoon we went to the Ecola State Park. This was the view we saw from the hike. This was the view from the parking lot. This s...

The latest on Wendy's progress…. March has been a tough month for us for the last two years. It’s two years today that I got my cancer diagnosis and this time last year I was waiting for the results from the suspicious lump in my arm. I thought I would take the opportunity this year to update the blog with the good news of my on going recovery! I am now seven months away from finishing treatment and am feeling so much better! The Langford Update
Wednesday, April 27, 2011. We have four baby robins nested in our laundry room window. The kids have taken down the blind to watch them. How awesome it is to watch the mother bird go find a worm and bring it back to feed them. In just three days, we have also seen the babies go from waiting with mouths open for the motherGod's beautiful provision. Picture of half-dead snake in garbage can. We found five caterpillars on our porch at once. Tuesday, April 26, 2011. Happy 3rd Birthday, Elisha! I made homemad...

Monday, August 10, 2015. When Your Husband is Such a Good Daddy that Sometimes You Get Jacked. Feeling giddy about Friday afternoon (it doesn't take much), I sent my husband a couple of flirty texts letting him know that I was missing him and how excited I was that the weekend was almost upon us. When 5 o'clock rolled around I made sure that I had showered, applied some mascara, and met him with a kiss at the back door as soon as he arrived home from work. Up until this point: a very normal evening.

The Langhals Family
Children are a gift of the Lord! Tuesday, July 15, 2014. In January, we had some friends over for dinner. As we were cleaning up dinner, the wife asked what was wrong with Wes' neck. Doug and I looked at each other confused and said, "What are you talking about? Here we are waiting in our room before surgery for them to come get Wes ready. Since we had to be there so early, it was a rather long wait so it was fun seeing Wes occupy himself and entertain us. Here is a picture of the drain. In a Nut Shell.
