This Crazy Thing Called Life. Musings of Young Twenty-something Wandering Souls. Sunday, August 29, 2010. Well we made it safely to Blue Springs, MO! Somehow we fit everything in our 10 foot Budget truck, but as you can see by this picture it was quite the architectural feat by Peter! Nothing got broken and we only had to leave a few things behind that will go to a worthy cause of helping friends at a yard sale raise money for their planned adoption of a boy from Mongolia. 10' truck = way too small.

Oh, and we also learned New York has the largest state park in the whole country: the Adirondack Mountains! When we first crossed over the border into Vermont, the first thing we did was visit Shelburne Farms. What a gorgeous place—once, it was owned and operated by a doctor who married into the Vanderbilt Family and wanted to create a working dairy farm Vanderbilt style. About 35 degrees at night!

She's So Heavy

Tuesday, November 9. Cheers to a whole new me! I have not been using my blogspot for quite a while now, and I apologize to my fourteen followers, yes, I am so popular eh? That I have not been active. To be honest, I moved on to tumblr which to my dismay saddens me with all this non original blog posting. Although, Tumblr has gotten my attention with it being way easier to use. I'm still with my lovely boyfriend of almost four years now, Josh, and we are still completely happy with one another.
