Re-entry Blues - Kim...On A Whim!
http://kimonawhim.com/2016/01/22/reentry-blues
Kim…On A Whim! January 22, 2016. You guys remember that time I embraced my destiny, threw caution to the wind and set out on an epic trip around the world? Yeah, me too, and oh, how I wish I was still out there. Because here’s the hard truth: re-entry totally blows. I made my triumphant return to the USA just about 4 months ago, but my ambitious travel schedule wasn’t quite finished. In these four months, I have been to Los Angeles. And have now landed for my indefinite stay with my parents in Utah.

Other than Antarctica, this is the southernmost point in the world (that I’ve visited, anyway) and even more magical to visit. I have dreamed my entire life of making it here, and so I saved the best for last. (Sorry kids, but this is going to be a long one). Continue reading “Now, New Zealand! August 30, 2015. Traveling To Tulum - The Everyday Journey
http://theeverydayjourney.com/traveling-to-tulum
Travel, family and taking life one day at a time. A week into living in Cozumel and we’re already taking trips to the mainland! We spent the weekend in Tulum visiting our friends Will and Cate of The Life Nomadic. Before they move to Mexico City. All we own for transportation right now is feet, so how did we get to Tulum from Cozumel? Image courtesy of http:/ www.divingplayadelcarmen.com/. Easily, because Mexico has excellent public transportation. A quick photo as we head into the Colectivo van in Playa.

Sunshine Thoughts | Things I think about.
Things I think about. July 12, 2016. Here is my favourite recent example of just that:. I hope we can all do what that little boy did. Show love to someone else, even if they’re from the other team. We are all human after all. We can all love. July 11, 2016. 8216;This is all I ever wanted from life’. But, the nagging thoughts still remain. How is it that you can be a grown-up but still wonder what you want to be when you grow up? Did I just do it because “why not”? Is there an answer? June 2, 2015. Is th...

One's destination is never a place, but a new way of seeing things." Henry Miller. Saturday, September 20, 2014. Goodbye, Wee One. This past week has been unbearably hard, and yet it's impossible times like these, filled with grief, that we feel God's presence nearest. We found out in early July that we were expecting Baby #4, and although we're completely overwhelmed with life right now, we were all elated! It was a miraculous, precious gift! I almost backed out; I almost couldn't do it. This lyric grab...
