The Christian Family: June 2011
http://oligracemiabelle.blogspot.com/2011_06_01_archive.html
Wednesday, June 1, 2011. We headed to The Woodlands, Texas for the inaugural Ironman Texas. We rented a house near the course. The girls and I enjoyed mother/daughter time shopping, eating and relaxing while David prepared for the race. It felt like a vacation to us. Here we are at Sweet and Sassy. Getting our nails done. Making signs for race day. I just thought this picture was cute. Race morning and we were able to find David before the race. And they are off! On the bike course.

Tuesday, July 5, 2011. Happy 4th of July! We spent the 4th of July at our friend's house in the neighborhood. They have an amazing view of downtown Portland so it was fun to enjoy a beautiful afternoon and then watch the evening fireworks around the city. Here are some pictures from the day. This picture doesn't do the actual view justice but I had to put it in. Here are all the crazy girls being silly for the camera. Yes, I made it! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Sunday, July 4, 2010. The Kids Triathlon was fun to watch. Here is the bike transition. There were 77, 7-8 year olds that completed the race. They came in two's; first running through the pools and then curving around the corner to the bike transition. Here comes Olivia.it looked like she was having so much fun. Locating her bike and following the signs to the course. My favorite part was when Olivia rode by us she had to give a shout out to her sister. She cracks me up! Mia was pretty focused on making ...

Wednesday, June 2, 2010. If you give a 4 1/2 year old the opportunity to dress herself and also say no dresses (which is her favorite) this is what you get. My favorite is the socks with her new sandals and I'm pretty positive that sweater is a 2T. Nice job mom on keeping up with closet clean out! Here's the token photo of big sister who wanted to get in to the mix too! They had just spent the night with Nana and as always they had a blast. The face painting was the morning activity for them.

Mulligan Stew: April 2012

Thursday, April 12, 2012. An Adoptive Child's Journey. I recently posted on Facebook that I had made contact with my birth family. If you’ve not been “following along” – I was adopted when I was 3 weeks old. I was taught from an early age that love made a family – not blood. My father explained it to me like this… “Cindy Lynn. Blood doesn’t mean anything. I wasn’t blood related to your Mother and I would have laid down my life for her.”. And the update to my decision HERE. A few weeks ago I received an e...

Mulligan Stew: Afternoon in the Vineyard
http://mulligans2u.blogspot.com/2012/05/afternoon-in-vineyard.html
Sunday, May 27, 2012. Afternoon in the Vineyard. Richard and I had an opportunity for a little wine tasting today. We visited Piluso Vineyard and Pudding River. Both quite tasty and we may have brought a bottle or two home to enjoy this weekend - and beyond. But, the added bonus was that we know the owners of Piluso's and got to enjoy their company along with their daughter Tracy and my BFF, Adrienne. Here are the links to the vineyards:. I also loved the Chardonnay Reserve; totally buttery and creamy.
