The Journey So Far. I am not entirely sure whether I will keep seeing this Obsetrician, but I am glad I was able to see him given my situation and provide me with some answers. I am happy to finally have some answers, but am a little upset with how I was treated. Look how much the babies have grown! And tagged 8w 0d.

Hoping Hope Floats: January 2015

http://hopinghopefloats.blogspot.com/2015_01_01_archive.html

Wednesday, January 14, 2015. Ever since we were diagnosed with infertility our life has seemed to progress by inches. Other couples have seemed to fly by us hitting milestone after milestone. The biggest of these being parenthood. It hasn't been easy. In so many ways it seems like we're still kids to our parents and siblings because we don't have children of our own. There's a certain mark of respect - it feels like to me - that parents get from other parents just because they are parents. We are expecti...

http://hopinghopefloats.blogspot.com/2015/05/9-week-ultra-sound.html

Sunday, May 3, 2015. We had our 9 week ultra sound late last week and everything was looking good. The doctor said the baby was sucking her thumb. I didn't know you could see something like that this early. The baby's heart rate was 168 - possibly a little girl? Only two more weeks and I'll be in my second trimester. Grow baby grow! May 3, 2015 at 11:12 AM. Gosh time is flying! Im excited for you. May 4, 2015 at 8:39 AM. Aw this is precious! What a beautiful site! May 4, 2015 at 9:45 AM. Cant fu* ing wait.

Hoping Hope Floats: 17 weeks - little flutters?

http://hopinghopefloats.blogspot.com/2015/06/17-weeks-little-flutters.html

Friday, June 26, 2015. 17 weeks - little flutters? I had an OB appointment this week and got to hear the baby's heartbeat. The doctor said that everything is looking normal. My next appointment is scheduled for the third week in July - that's when we'll have our anatomy scan ultrasound. I've been feeling pretty good this week. I only threw up twice, which is a new record and that was on Monday and Tuesday so maybe I'm leaving those pregnancy symptoms behind me. June 26, 2015 at 5:40 PM. Cant fu* ing wait.

Hoping Hope Floats: October 2014

http://hopinghopefloats.blogspot.com/2014_10_01_archive.html

Thursday, October 30, 2014. The days go by . . . The days go by . . . I was sitting at a stoplight on my way home from work and I realized that I was praying. I've been doing that a lot lately and it's really improved my attitude and outlook on life. Mainly I've been giving thanks for all of the blessings in my life. Like my health, husband, and job. This beautiful world. The fall weather has been beautiful around here. The days go by . . . We've been following the Total Money Makeover, by Dave Ramsey.

Hoping Hope Floats: December 2014

http://hopinghopefloats.blogspot.com/2014_12_01_archive.html

Tuesday, December 9, 2014. Today I went out with my girlfriends to lunch to celebrate the birthday of one of my closest friends. It was a bittersweet event because this friend - who I also work with - is going to be leaving her job shortly. My friend is really sweet, and, as a person who was adopted, has been very supportive of my husband and I as we walk this adoption path. I'm really going to miss her. I am just so grateful. My marriage has become stronger and my relationship with my husband has greate...

Wednesday, July 22, 2015. We had our anatomy scan - I am 21 weeks pregnant - today. We found out that we are having a baby boy, and even more importantly, everything looks normal and healthy. I think I was holding my breath through the entire scan, just waiting to make sure that everything was okay. I can't wait to share this news with our donor family, I know they will be just a relieved as we are to hear that our baby is healthy and thriving. I just feel so blessed. I keep reminding myself how ...I kep...

Hoping Hope Floats: 16 weeks

http://hopinghopefloats.blogspot.com/2015/06/16-weeks.html

Tuesday, June 16, 2015. Here I am 16 weeks pregnant and I still can't believe that I'm sitting here with a rounded belly protruding in front of my keyboard. So far my pregnancy has been uneventful and smooth and I'm very grateful for that. I'm still experiencing nausea and some fatigue, but it's nowhere near where it was during my first trimester. It's nice to be off of the PIO shots. Now I know that it's really my body responding to the hormones of my pregnancy. June 16, 2015 at 8:36 PM. How can you be ...

Hoping Hope Floats: 7 week ultrasound

http://hopinghopefloats.blogspot.com/2015/04/7-week-ultrasound.html

Friday, April 24, 2015. We had our first ultra sound last week. We saw one healthy and on track baby with a flickering heartbeat. My eyes were fixed on that flashing beacon as the doctor made his measurements and did the exam. We are just so thankful! We have our next ultra sound this upcoming Tuesday. We haven't shared with our families yet that we are pregnant, but we are hoping to share after we hit that blessed 12 week mark. Blessed with hope,. April 24, 2015 at 3:05 PM. The long road to be who I am. Only the dead have seen the end of war. Miércoles, 27 de mayo de 2015. La frontera entre el sueño y la realidad. Sueño con oler el vacío, bañarme en una nube en mitad del cielo y ver tus pensamientos, entremezclándose con tus temores.
