http://methinksrandom.blogspot.com/2009/08/ramadhan-kareem.html
I feel like sharing and other things. Monday, August 24, 2009. Ramadhan is finally here - YAY! I love Ramadhan. Absolutely LOVE. It I love everything about it: the cooking, the late nights, the stressed out people, the long night prayers, the hunger at lunch time, the thirst in the afternoon and above all the. The pure elation of that first sip of milk at sunset. So, yeah, I love Ramadhan. I really want this Ramadhan to be my most successful so far. This is a month of worship where good deeds are wor...

Random thoughts: February 2010
http://methinksrandom.blogspot.com/2010_02_01_archive.html
I feel like sharing and other things. Sunday, February 28, 2010. I've decided to summarise February like the 'Lost and Found' section of a newspaper. One of those ideas that comes to me on bus journeys. Image found on google images. Sorely missed life tool, needed for accomplishing tasks and improving general feeling of well-being. Last seen around the beginning of January. If found, please return. Ok, I just looked up 'mojo' on wiktionary. An entire stack of DVDs, last seen (for sure) the summer before ...

Random thoughts: I am a warrior.
http://methinksrandom.blogspot.com/2010/12/i-am-warrior.html
I feel like sharing and other things. Sunday, December 12, 2010. I am a warrior. I recently discovered habitforge. A site that allows you to list habits you want to form and then sends you an email every day to check up on you. But the best bit? You have to do the activity every day for 21 days straight. If you skip one day, you have to start again from zero. It’s very. Effective. I'm currently working on two habits: working out for 50 minutes and writing every day. I am a warrior. ;). Random thoughts: May 2010
http://methinksrandom.blogspot.com/2010_05_01_archive.html
I feel like sharing and other things. Friday, May 28, 2010. I haven't been able to think of anything to blog about recently, mainly because I haven't felt like blogging or doing anything that might count as constructive. Except make huge lemon meringue pies, but even that could be considered destructive in terms of my overall diet and health. :D But I got this idea from Amber. Who's doing the same thing today. Say Yes to the Dress. What Not to Wear. I Didn't Know I Was Pregnant. What's wrong with me?

Random thoughts: Fasting in Islam
http://methinksrandom.blogspot.com/2010/12/fasting.html
I feel like sharing and other things. Wednesday, December 8, 2010. I've mentioned a few times on my blog about fasting, usually with regards to Ramadan. After Melanie. S comment, I thought I could elaborate a little bit more about fasting in Islam. Because I don't want to complicate things, I've decided to use Rudyard Kipling. S poem 'I Keep Six Honest Serving Men'. As a guide to explaining the most important things. I keep six honest serving-men. They taught me all I knew);. And How and Where and Who.

Random thoughts: August 2011
http://methinksrandom.blogspot.com/2011_08_01_archive.html
I feel like sharing and other things. Tuesday, August 2, 2011. It’s been months since my last post. I didn’t mean for it to be so long, but life kinda got ahead of me. My teaching schedule got a bit more hectic April through to June, making life a bit more hectic - but it was more money, so it was all good. :D. Granny finally passed away, peacefully, in the early hours of Wednesday 24th of May. It still doesn’t seem real - she’s always been there so how can she not be now? This is their engagement photo.

Random thoughts: Return from AWOL land
http://methinksrandom.blogspot.com/2010/10/return-from-awol-land.html
I feel like sharing and other things. Monday, October 25, 2010. Return from AWOL land. This post has been a long time in the writing. I've been meaning to write it, and thereby get back into blogging again, for about a month now, but I just kept putting it off. Why did I stop blogging in the first place? Then Ramadan hit. I always enjoy Ramadan. Always. Except this year. This year was tough. Amber (Girl with the red hair). October 25, 2010 at 9:49 PM. Ive been thinking about you - hoping you were OK!

Random thoughts: 2010 Resolutions
http://methinksrandom.blogspot.com/2010/01/2010-resolutions.html
I feel like sharing and other things. Wednesday, January 6, 2010. 1)Qur’an: both revising and memorising. 3)Reading: both in Arabic and English. 1)Memorise ¼ of the Qur’an. 188; is a lot, but I really feel that I can do it, if I’m dedicated enough and form the right habits. Over the last few years I’ve been learning about 1/12 a year, and that’s been. Easy to do. There’s no reason why I can’t do more. 2)Learn the rules of recitation of the Qur’an (Ahkam). 3)Find an outlet for my Islamic writing. Um, yeah...
