Wednesday, August 18, 2010. The nanny called me at work yesterday. There was a lot of sighing, and a definite note of irritation. I heard Kate on the monitor and went upstairs to get her. I found her with a handful of poop, rubbing it in her hair, on the crib, her bedding - everywhere! It reminded me of that "the Nanny" episode where the little girl had a habit of reaching down her diapers and grabbing her crud and would fling it everywhere. I hope to GOD that doesn't happen. Something happened during the birthing/infant process and I can no longer discern the passing of time.especially at night, when I get those precious few hours of sleep. I'm SURE that it has only been five minutes since my head hit the pillow and when precious baby decides its time to wake snoring mommy up for a little midnight snack. Issues.
