The adventures and musings of a recent empty-nested Floridian housewife transplanted to Minneapolis, Minnesota the freezer of America. The funny thing is (and I chuckle here) that I clearly remember my mother in middle age squinting in the mirror and cutting her own hair. My sisters and I would roll our eyes and wonder why she just didn't leave it to the professionals. Well now I know - it is "middleagewomanproblems". Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). The adventures and musings of a recent empty-nested Floridian housewife transplanted to Minneapolis, Minnesota the freezer of America. It's on the windy and cooler side this am even for northeast Florida. I saw the moon set as I went for my daily Starbucks run and am watching the ocean waves lap at the shore as the sun comes up over the horizon to a cloudless sky. I am going to need my shades in another second. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). There was an error in this gadget. Porter Teleo To Go.

The adventures and musings of a recent empty-nested Floridian housewife transplanted to Minneapolis, Minnesota the freezer of America. What a Day for a Bike Ride. Kite Surfer on Sengekontacket. Taking advantage of a perfect fall day in late September I set off for Oak Bluff, a 20 mile round trip bike ride. One reason I love this particular ride is that it snakes along the beach with beautiful vistas of Sengekontacket Pond on one side and the Nantucket Sound on the other. Gingerbread Houses in OB. Comfort Food | otherwise ordinary
https://anotherwiseordinaryblog.wordpress.com/2013/10/10/comfort-food
A blog dedicated to finding joy in the daily grind. Skip to primary content. The (slightly) cooler weather has me craving soup like crazy — it’s pretty much all I want to eat, full stop. And really, is there anything better or more comforting than a hearty cup of hot soup? So, when I woke up on Sunday to rain and zero plans, I decided to get cooking. I flipped through the soups and stews in my Barefoot Contessa cookbooks before settling on her recipe for Parker’s Split Pea. 10/11/2013 at 3:38 pm. Fill in...

Slow Churned Ice Cream. Laquo; Fun Fact Friday. Public Bar, Personal Space. Note: Look In the Rearview Mirror. June 12, 2009 by KT. Wednesday sucked. It consisted of a torrential downpour, my contact disintegrating in my eye forcing me to wear my glasses, and hitting a parked car. So now, my idiocy will cost my bank account a cool $800. On June 12, 2009 at 2:49 pm. I’m sorry you had such a rotten Wednesday, m’dear! I hope the weekend is better for you! Leave a Reply Cancel reply. Enter your comment here.

Up bright and early the next morning and ready for our walk/run 5K. Kate, the multi-marathoner, planned our route around and through the UVa campus. Then it was time to tour Monticello. Murphy Spice: 21
http://murphy-spice.blogspot.com/2012/04/21.html
The adventures and musings of a recent empty-nested Floridian housewife transplanted to Minneapolis, Minnesota the freezer of America. The family came together in Ponte Vedra to celebrate Colleen's 21st birthday. There was bonding at the spa, laughter, shopping, purple, reminiscing, champagne, walking on the beach, dinner, presents, cake, and lots of love. Hard to believe that Colleen is 21! And some things (Jim) never change :). April 15, 2012 at 8:00 PM. Ditto re: Kates comment about Jim!
