Plus I have wanted to visit the Oregon coast for years. We flew into PDX and rented a car. And headed to the Columbia River Gorge. And I had to take pictures of the trees with. Moss growing on them before anything else! I only hiked about 1/2 way to the top. But Mark made it the whole way. Some nice strangers took our picture for us.

Wednesday, May 14, 2014. Home Away . . . From home = St. George. This trip we took our bikes. And enjoyed the Virgin River Trail. Where we saw the coolest bike fixing station. It was an Eagle Scout project. It had tools, a pump, and a bar code. You could scan on your phone and. Have instructional information on how to fix your bike. Then we had to get a tiger's blood avalanche at Swig. I had to take this to prove it got to 90 on Friday! Try to ignore the dust). The girls got there Friday night and we ate.

Wednesday, September 24, 2014. SSF the end (summer so far). Summer has come to an end but. On this blog it is still alive and happening! On August 8th we celebrated. We were in St. George. First stop: The Neon Sign Boneyard. The fam with our tour guide. They had old neon signs. This one was for a dry cleaners. This one was appropriate for the desert. They had iconic Vegas casino signs that. They restore and put back up in Vegas. To be enjoyed once again. We went in the early morning. It is so beautiful.

For our visit in Ketchikan, we went on another hike through the Tongass Rainforest, which was really cool. Did you know this rainforest covers 17 million acres of Alaska? Yup, there's a little fun fact about Alaska for you there. It felt like I was in the movie Ferngully because it was so green. There were giant slugs too. This is just the beginning.
