Yes, against all odds we have made it to Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. 39 days ago we started in Goodwood, UK. We drove 9476 miles through 17 countries in 2 one litre Nissan Micra’s. We blew just 2 tyres (both at the same time! And spent only 3 days at the garage, and a mere 6 days in total at borders along the way. For now I’m signing off to bed after a much needed shower. After collection, 10 miles down the road, the head gasket blew – she has been in intensive care ever since. Fingers crossed she will be showing off her 60 horsepower motor at the Festival of Slow, the launch party at Goodwood, on 24th July. 2010 was the year 4 Cornish boys in 2 1l Nissan Micras made it all the way from London to Ulaanbaataar, Mongolia. Our heartfelt thanks go out to all those who supported us by giving their money, time and love. We couldn’t have done it without you! We raised 2000 for our chosen charities and had the time of our lives exploring places we’d never heard of until we went there. This website is now a fossil. I’m a character animator currently residing in Toronto, Ontario. I received my education at Seneca College, and spent two years working at Arc Productions(formerly Starz Animation), gaining experience working on movies, commercials, visual concept pitches, web spots, television specials, short films and television series.
