Where is the project now? Art in the most unlikely place. November 2, 2012. The return trip from an annual work conference resulted in the accidental discovery of an art gallery in a town of 200, give or take. The Most Unlikely Place. Is in Lewellen, just west of Ash Hollow in western Nebraska (pictured below). Each family member has their craft, be it painting, music, woodworking or culinary art. Each wants to see the arts help revive the small community. They want Lewellen to be the Taos.

I remember the thrill in second grade of having my fellow students and the teacher impressed that I could draw a grape vine and leaves! My goal for this year is to start painting larger pieces. This is a new one "Moonrise" from a photo I took walking along Blue Creek near my home. I loved the mood of the evening. The frame is Walnut, harvested in Nebraska, and designed by my brother, Rex Miller. The painting is 30 x 40 plus a 6" frame.
