April 12, 2015. Mountain Biking while pregnant. From poking around online it seems that:. 1 you should avoid activities that might cause you to fall. This however is very dependent on your skill level as a biker. 2 Avoid overheating-this can cause damage to the baby. 3 Avoid breathlessness….if you are not getting enough oxygen, they baby isn’t either. Some of the things I have noticed. Otherwise, I am still very much enjoying mountain biking….I’ll keep you updated of any changes. April 7, 2015.
