Friday afternoon Grandma and Grandpa headed home and we drove on to the Sleeping Bear Sand Dunes. Makinac Bridge and Castle Farms continued. On Friday we headed south over the bridge to Charlevoix, MI and Castle Farms. It was a farm built like a castle and now more of a museum. We fed fish, watched the trains, sat in the buggies and played outside chess.

Thursday, August 6, 2009. Another fun summer memory:. Marni's daycare is right beside a movie theater. Daddy really likes this, as some days when picking up Marni from daycare we will walk over and get some pop-corn. The hyphenation is because Marni calls it corn, and not popcorn. She absolutely loves the stuff. Now, almost every day when I pick her up from daycare and we get outside, she points to the theater and says, "Corn? All it took was one trip over to the theater for her to remember.
