The Nile Progression: Nile Kayaking Festival - Photo Competition...

http://thenileprogression.blogspot.com/2010/12/nile-kayaking-festival-photo.html

Wednesday, 15 December 2010. Nile Kayaking Festival - Photo Competition. For the last few years we've been running a photo competition at every kayak festival here on the Nile. The competition is in memory of Ben Holland - a great friend of ours who was an amazing photographer and lived here on the banks of the NIle, but sadly passed away a few years ago. Anyone could enter 3 photo's which were then put into anonymous folders for impartial judging. In all 11 people entered, here's the top 5. This should ...

The Nile Progression: South Africa... ...it's a mini adventure...

http://thenileprogression.blogspot.com/2011/01/south-africa-its-mini-adventure.html

Sunday, 23 January 2011. South Africa. .it's a mini adventure. I've just spent a week in SA before flying up to see my parents in Vic Falls for a few days. Well this is my hire car, because of reasons known as Polly getting mad and pulling the steering wheel off his own car this was our shuttle vehicle for a week. Only problem which I admit in this photo is hard to see is that the wheels were made of lego and even puddles were a problem. I love hire cars! Posted by Will Clark. Latest News from the Nile.

http://thenileprogression.blogspot.com/2009_07_01_archive.html

Wednesday, 22 July 2009. Photo credits - Dan, Josh Neilson, Sam Sutton, Michele Ramazza and Ian Garcia -. So I've been pretty lame with the blog lately. I just got back from Norway 2 weeks ago and have been working hard on the river for Love it Live it since then. All is good and nice to be enjoying the Nile and learning some new tricks - I decided to learn clean blunts, Helixes and Pistol Flips last week and all efforts are going pretty well! Detailing my experiences in Bujagali Falls, Uganda, October 2007-April 2008, and beyond. Saturday, May 22, 2010. We rolled out of Arches National Park looking behind us the whole time- trying to catch a last glimpse of the park- until we came further into the mountain ranges of Utah. Snowman finally looks more at home with some snow in the background! Road Food lists the best places to go and eat in certain areas. The website listed Hires as a detour worthy of planning a day around- a must for sure!

Detailing my experiences in Bujagali Falls, Uganda, October 2007-April 2008, and beyond. Monday, May 3, 2010. In the Garden of the Gods. We made it to Colorado Springs in a mere 30 hours from Canada, arriving at a friend of Bruce's house, and crashed out pretty hard. Treated us and took us out climbing on a few Colorado Springs classics. Brian also provided us with harnesses, helmets and ropes. you know, the small things. Brian Belays while Mark leads the climb. Detailing my experiences in Bujagali Falls, Uganda, October 2007-April 2008, and beyond. Monday, March 30, 2009. Its been busy up here in Vermont. I still can't believe that its the end of March. Springtime is in full force up here. We've had alternatley freezing cold days with 60 degree days- bright sunshine mixed with the rain that is eating the rest of the snow up here, turning the once frozen ground into mud, turning the snow into run-off, flooding the rivers and creeks in the area. The grand prix wa...

Detailing my experiences in Bujagali Falls, Uganda, October 2007-April 2008, and beyond. Tuesday, February 10, 2009. Its been ages since i've sat down to do a blog post. To be honest, im not even sure if anyone still checks this. One of the biggest overall problems with program, we felt, was a general lack of communication. On pretty much everything. From the very beginning, the information put out about the trip was spotty and inconsistent. We had several groups of people from all over the w...This disc...

I have to apologize, because i have been very lazy since returning from Uganda almost a month ago, and more than a little reluctant to face the real world. Detailing my experiences in Bujagali Falls, Uganda, October 2007-April 2008, and beyond. Tuesday, April 27, 2010. Across America- East Coast to Canada. Its road trip time again! Only this year, a few things are a little different. Last year I drove out west on a purely paddling mission with some of the Demshitz crew- and had an amazing time. This year, I decided to head back out west in the interim between seasons, but add a little extra flavor to the trip. Lisa and Bruce brave the water. We managed to s...

Just got back into Kathmandu after almost two weeks on the river- first 10 days on the Sunkosi with the Nepali girls, team swede, team kiwi and Inka- it was a good, if long and very sandy trip- ill be sure and do a full write up soon once i get a chance to upload some photos- and from the end of the Sun Kosi almost straight away to the Trisuli for the Himalayan River Festival. The Nile Pharaoh

The most powerful person in ancient Egypt was the pharaoh. We really does not know how many kings ruled in Egypt, for at times in its ancient past the country was split up, and there were at least several kings at the same time. There were also probably kings who ruled regions of Egypt before recorded history, and in fact, several ancient historians record legendary Pharaohs who became Egyptian gods. The Gods And Religion.
