Part Nine: When the Peace of Death Floods Over Addiction. Oct 29, 2013. My father and I in 1993 (I was nineteen – what a baby! Several years ago, I started writing out my story and because it’s rather complicated and one post wouldn’t cover it all, I decided to publish it in parts. (You can click here if you’re interested in starting at the beginning.). I stopped at Part Eight. It’s really about where He’s delivered me TO rather than what He’s delivered me FROM. I also met a new group of friends in my ru...

http://applesofgold-applesofgold.blogspot.com/2011/02/birthday-do-over.html
In Moments Like These. Living every moment for Christ, no regrets. Monday, February 14, 2011. Since the Big Apple was sick on her birthday, I scoped out a place to take her this weekend that would TOTALLY make up for the fact that her birthday was a bust. The family piled in the van and headed to Folsom, LA to the Global Wildlife Center. There was an enormous amount of animals. Most of them would eat right out of the cup. Some ate neatly out of your hands. And some, of the animals, they open their mouths...

In Moments Like These. Living every moment for Christ, no regrets. Wednesday, February 16, 2011. I don't think I have ever tasted anything better than carrots fresh from the garden. Except for maybe snowpeas. Or Cabbage. I dearly adore gardening year round here in The Swamp. Miss having a garden - looking forward to it someday again. Soon, I hope. February 17, 2011 at 9:44 AM. http://luvschrome.blogspot.com/2011/06/sunday-water-fun.html
Come join me in loving everything that shines. Monday, June 27, 2011. Yesterday was HOT in our area of the state I think they said it was 104. The boy wanted to have a water gun fight. Hubs told him okay. They went outside to have said water fight and of course one of the water guns wouldn't work so Hubs just used the hose. The Boy was having a blast squirting Hubs. Hubs said the water in the gun felt like bath water so he just stood there and let him go at it. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Come join me in loving everything that shines. Saturday, September 17, 2011. Here he is warming up. I have a confession to make. I almost walked right by him and didn't recognize him as my child. He looks so grown up in his gear. Good thing he said "hey mom" Wow! He's in there doing the right thing. Get the jump on the other guy before he gets you. Get him get him! This one kinda took my breath away and made my stomach flip. Links to this post. Saturday, September 10, 2011. Links to this post.

Part Twelve: The Time I Was Thankful for Liquid Courage. Nov 18, 2013. FYI – this is a series. You might want to start here. Or at least here. To understand what I’m talking about today…. Because it’s how we met. Online. And back when it was still kinda weird to meet someone online. Our paths would have never crossed in actual real- life we lived across town from one another and we didn’t run in the same circles. There was literally a window of three days in which we could have connected. Honestly, we we...
