The Old Mill, Hoarwithy. How To Find Us. History of the Old Mill. The house itself has always been very much at the centre of the village. Although it is now a Guest House, it has also been a Farmhouse, a Carpenter's shop, a Coal Merchants, the Village Shop, a Taxi Service and a Bakehouse! We have lived here since 1977 and have slowly updated the house and converted it into a Guest House. The village nowadays is quieter, but we have a beautiful Church, a Pub and a Post Office. The Old Mill, Hoarwithy. How To Find Us. We work hard to provide an interesting menu using local meat and fruit and vegetables when in season. Our puddings are a favourite treat. All special diets can be catered for including vegetarian, gluten free and diabetic. Fruit Compote, local crème fraiche and fruits, organic yoghurts, home made preserves, Fownhope home made sausages, short back bacon and free range eggs. Starters - Feta cheese and courgette tart with parmesan. Melon or home made soup.

The Old Mill, Hoarwithy. How To Find Us. The Old Mill offers very spacious and comfortable accommodation. We have double and twin-bedded rooms available, with en-suite or showers included in most rooms. There is one double en-suite room downstairs. We can sleep 11 people which is particularly useful for weddings or family groups. The dining room is spacious and beamed with a French window opening onto the paved gardens which have as a feature, a pond with waterfall and fountain. Website design by Orphans.
