The Dobson Family: Kindergarten
http://dobson1.blogspot.com/2015/05/kindergarten.html
Saturday, May 30, 2015. I know everybody says time flies, but now that I am a parent, I fully understand and agree with this statement. It seems like yesterday was August 6th and Sam was starting his first day of Kindergarten! Sam had a wonderful year and I give the most credit to his teacher. She is the most amazing kindergarten teacher ever because she truly cared about her kids and she made her lessons fun! Sam can fluently add and subtract, but now he is solving for x and is multiplying. So far, ...

The Dobson Family: February 2015
http://dobson1.blogspot.com/2015_02_01_archive.html
Tuesday, February 24, 2015. Snow Day Two = Disaster. Day two of our snow vacation started off great. We slept in, ate a big breakfast and went sledding near the Dobson Cemetery with the Mohon crew. The boys had a blast sledding in the open field, I carried out my job as the "Sled Lift" and the boys played until they were cold and tired. I didn't want him to be hurt, but I am glad it was a lesson learned and wasn't any worse than it was. Sunday, February 22, 2015. We spent the first few hours watching the...

The Dobson Family: Easter 2015
http://dobson1.blogspot.com/2015/04/easter-2015.html
Monday, April 20, 2015. Easter weekend was a lot of fun. For the first time in years we were able to get together with family and have a kid egg hunt. I think it is safe to say we enjoyed good food and great company. The boys had a blast hunting for the Easter eggs. I have to say, things have definitely changed since I was a child. Gram stuffed the eggs with not only candy, but money! I thought about getting my own basket and hunt, but I didn't! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Barn Door for a Closet!

The Dobson Family: October 2014
http://dobson1.blogspot.com/2014_10_01_archive.html
Tuesday, October 7, 2014. We started our Fall Break with a trip to Missouri. Beggs Family Farm is the best place to take young children to enjoy Fall activities! We stayed all day and needless to say, we were worn out when we left! This was the huge rocking chair Ben wanted to sit in when he got tired! He asked if we could take it home and put it on our front porch! Unfortunately, he didn't understand it wouldn't fit in the car and it wouldn't fit on our porch! Ben with a golf club is dangerous! Our next...

The Dobson Family: March 2015
http://dobson1.blogspot.com/2015_03_01_archive.html
Sunday, March 22, 2015. Sam lost his first tooth today! He was so good and didn't even cry! It has been loose for a while now and he wanted me to try to pull it because he was worried he was going to swallow it! When it came out, he immediately started worrying about the hole and wanted to know when his big tooth would come in. This is another first for Sam and another sign he is turning into a big boy! Saturday, March 14, 2015. 1,000 Fry Words. Make up approximately 1/3. Of all items published. One thin...

The Dobson Family: January 2015
http://dobson1.blogspot.com/2015_01_01_archive.html
Saturday, January 31, 2015. During the week, our schedules are busy. Like most people, we live for the weekends! This weekend was extra special because we didn't have any plans! We played Jenga, Uno, and Sorry and then finished the night putting together legos. His concentration is very intense! Sam was determined he wasn't going to lose! Matt kept telling him it was going to fall, so when his turn was over, he was excited because Matt went next! Thursday, January 29, 2015. Tuesday, January 27, 2015.

The Dobson Family: August 2014
http://dobson1.blogspot.com/2014_08_01_archive.html
Wednesday, August 6, 2014. 1st Day of School. I started my 13th year of teaching today, but it was a very special day for me because Sam started Kindergarten. It is the day I have been anxiously awaiting for a couple of years now. I worried if Sam would be scared, if he would hate coming to school, if he would have friends, and the million other questions that all moms have before their babies start school! I was pleasantly surprised when Sam exceeded all my expectations! Enjoy the fact that he is growin...

The Dobson Family: July 2015
http://dobson1.blogspot.com/2015_07_01_archive.html
Thursday, July 9, 2015. Tuesday, July 7, 2015. The Thrashers definitely gave us a lot of entertainment this summer. It was fun watching the kids learn the basic rules of the game and not having a care in the world! Ben loved batting more than he did playing in the field. He told me he just didn't get enough action in the field and sometimes he just liked to play with the dirt and watch the birds instead! Saturday, July 4, 2015. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).
