They really seem interested in what they are reading. The kids have had their share of sickness this winter. We have had the flu, strep throat, and no two rounds of the stomach bug. Tuesday, March 18, 2014. I was not sure this winter would ever end. I believe we have missed the first week of school of every month so far this year. This last snow storm was the biggest by far. Even the bank was closed for a day. Grant got out to play with the kids but was quickly distracted when he realized how hard it was going to be to get his car out of the garage. Tuesday, February 17, 2015. We received 10 inches of snow today. We were able to keep the kids inside all morning but after lunch we headed outside. Grant remained focused on getting his car out so he could be able to work tomorrow. We had to always be on lookout because we never knew when we would be slammed with a shovel of snow. Sunday, October 13, 2013. We started fall break with pizza at Dede’s house. Everyone got to hold baby Lilly. Monday morning we headed out to the bank and Wal-Mart in hopes we wouldn’t have to go there again that week, and I believe we were successful! Tuesday, February 24, 2015. Snow Day Two = Disaster. Day two of our snow vacation started off great. We slept in, ate a big breakfast and went sledding near the Dobson Cemetery with the Mohon crew. Monday, April 20, 2015. Easter weekend was a lot of fun. For the first time in years we were able to get together with family and have a kid egg hunt. I think it is safe to say we enjoyed good food and great company. The boys had a blast hunting for the Easter eggs. I have to say, things have definitely changed since I was a child.
