A Barefoot Journey: December 2012
http://abarefootjourney.blogspot.com/2012_12_01_archive.html
Monday, December 24, 2012. It's snowing on Christmas eve! I'm in Colorado visiting my family and was so excited when the flakes started falling. What a wonderful way to celebrate the holidays with the people I love the most. Posted by Anica Wong. Friday, December 14, 2012. And, as we've come to know, I'm sure there will be other horrific days like the one we are experiencing today. The saving grace, or at least what I keep telling myself, is that children are resilient. Posted by Anica Wong. Proud of mys...

Adventures with Tom and Kathryn: What a difference a day makes
http://adventureswithtandk.blogspot.com/2013/04/what-difference-day-makes.html
Adventures with Tom and Kathryn. Saturday, April 27, 2013. What a difference a day makes. Every time Tom holds him up over his head. Now Tom says it for him. Apr 7 - bath time. The things dangling from the arches above his play mat can entertain him for a little bit as he flails his arms about and sometimes makes contact. This development has made it so much easier to duck away to get something done. Apr 6 - baby burrito. Other things he has discovered:. April 28, 2013 at 6:06 AM. This post is definitely...

Adventures with Tom and Kathryn: 6 Weeks
http://adventureswithtandk.blogspot.com/2013/03/6-weeks.html
Adventures with Tom and Kathryn. Tuesday, March 5, 2013. We're not sure where the time has gone, but we now have a 6 week old baby boy. He is growing so quickly! In the past few days I've noticed that he isn't the same skinny baby he was before. His cheeks are filling out and his legs are getting chubby. He has also really started to smile (of course, every time we bring the camera out he stops grinning). So much fun! These weren't always 3/4 length sleeves. Thanks, Maryanne, for the adorable onesie!

Adventures with Tom and Kathryn: And he talks
http://adventureswithtandk.blogspot.com/2015/03/and-he-talks.html
Adventures with Tom and Kathryn. Sunday, March 29, 2015. Phillip has been saying some words for months now, but I feel it is really picking up and felt like I should document some of it. He said 'dada' and then, eventually, 'mama'. The Dictionary (according to Phillip):. An or en = milk. Nigh = blanket (perhaps derivative of putting a blanket on him and saying night-night). Woof-woof or woo-woo= dog. Ca = cat, duck (quack). So = snow or other precipitation. Zizz= fizzy water, seltzer. Ahao OR hao = help.

Adventures with Tom and Kathryn: May 2012
http://adventureswithtandk.blogspot.com/2012_05_01_archive.html
Adventures with Tom and Kathryn. Friday, May 25, 2012. I started writing this post two weeks ago. It has kind of turned into a monster - sorry. The following weekend, Tom and I had a really fun, whirlwind trip out to State College for my brother's graduation from Penn State's MBA program. Congratulations Andrew and Mindy for surviving two crazy years! Two weeks ago Tom worked both days and this past weekend he was on Saturday. He's on again this Saturday as well. It's going to hold a lot of lumber. We pu...

Adventures with Tom and Kathryn: April 2012
http://adventureswithtandk.blogspot.com/2012_04_01_archive.html
Adventures with Tom and Kathryn. Saturday, April 14, 2012. We moved into our house just over two weeks ago now. The lease on our apartment was up at the end of March and we had no desire to waste any more money on that place so - ready or not, here we came. We had a few goals before we moved in (a greatly pared down list from the list we made in January when we closed):. 2 Make way for appliances. 3 Get at least one bathroom up and running in its entirety. 4 Mop as many floors as possible. We decided to ...

Adventures with Tom and Kathryn. Sunday, May 25, 2014. I'm done with Sundays, time to come up with a new name for the day and start over. Now if I can just get my heart rate down and stop seething I'm going to go and try to forget this morning and just enjoy the time I have with my family. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Adventures with Tom and Kathryn: March 2013
http://adventureswithtandk.blogspot.com/2013_03_01_archive.html
Adventures with Tom and Kathryn. Tuesday, March 26, 2013. Playing Catchup: Thanksgiving 2012. With our big gaps between posts, we have a fair amount to catch up on. As I can, I'm going to start filling in the gaps. Here goes:. I think we fit pretty comfortably and didn't even have anybody sleeping in the shop. While Dad and Andrew and Mindy's family were down in Philly, David helped Tom and I load a borrowed truck with brush and haul a couple of loads over to Tom's work. We don't have pictures of it,...
