Sonny, Emily, Taylor, and Charlie. Saturday, March 3, 2012. Look who turned 6 months old! Saturday, January 21, 2012. Christmas was spent in our home here in Washington. We spent it with just our little family this year. We weren't able to go down to California because Sonny's work schedule has been totally crazy. He managed to get a week off after Christmas but wasn't supposed to go out of state for it. I know, I know, why call it a vacation then? Merry Christmas to me! Look what Santa brought Charlie!

Monday, July 27, 2015. Such a busy summer. I don't have a lot of hope that I will ever catch up on the blog. During the busy school months I told myself that I would have time to catch up during the summer. So far the summer has had a lot of extremely busy days and very few relaxing catch up days. I'm actually looking forward to school because I have this erroneous belief that I'll have time to catch up on life then! Here's hoping we survive! Friday, July 10, 2015. Baccalaureate was on Sunday, June 7th.

At a time when live music was the only opulent medium to accompany singing and dancing, talented musicians and composers were in abundance. Some of these composers etched a permanent place for themselves in the history of music and pop culture, such as Irving Berlin, Hoagy Carmichael, Jerome Kern, Johnny Mercer, Rogers and Hammerstein, Arthur Schwatrz, and, among many others Cole Porter.
