Mogobane is a village of about 3,000 residents of primarily Balete ancestry. It is the most remote village in the Southeast District, which includes the neighboring villages of Ramotswa, Taung and Otse. I am able to bring 2 checked bags, totaling up to 80 lbs. and 107 linear inches, and a carry-on and personal item. I have a huge backpacking pack with detachable day pack and plan to get a rolling duffle. Everything will be packed in Ziploc bags that I can wash and re-use like my grandma.
