Daily Moves and Grooves. Pray eat. move. groove. In and Out of Canada {Take 2}. August 16, 2016. By Alison @ Daily Moves and Grooves. Another year, another jaunt to Canada. Toronto, Canada. The land in which I undoubtedly consume an inordinate amount of carbohydrates and sodium. But goodness gracious, how can you say no to the fried rice and crispy noodles? How beautiful, eh? Early wakeup to leave the house at 6AM! Nectarine banana overnight oats as per travel tradition. Some morning double rainbow action.

What is a typical day of eating like for you? I’m a huge breakfast person, so I like to make myself a nice large meal first thing in the morning. Usually oatmeal with walnuts, banana, cinnamon and soy milk. But I also like scrambled eggs with whole wheat toast, avocado and fruit, or maybe two slices of whole w...Lunch is us...

Sparks Family: December 2012
http://sparksfamilylife.blogspot.com/2012_12_01_archive.html
Friday, December 14, 2012. Thanksgiving festivities and more. The Wednesday before Thanksgiving we drove to Wenatchee for Aaron's dad's 60th birthday dinner! He didn't ask for much - just pork chops and scalloped potatoes - he's easy to please! Thanksgiving morning we headed up to Cashmere to my dad and Mel's for a quick visit. The kids love playing outside at their house - it's like camping in the woods! Our next stop was Aaron's parent's house for the second feast! Dessert with the cousins! The deocrat...

Sparks Family: October 2013
http://sparksfamilylife.blogspot.com/2013_10_01_archive.html
Tuesday, October 15, 2013. The Sparks in September. Probably the biggest news this month is that my mom and stepdad moved to the Tri-Cities! They’re only about 20 minutes away from our house now, instead of over two hours. It’s great to be close to them again and the kids are loving the visits that get to happen more often. Beer Olympics was on the docket again this year and it didn’t disappoint! We claimed Mexico again as our country and I think we came in third place this year. Poland, Korea and Mexico!

By no means do I have a checklist when I come across a new-to-me blog but I seem to naturally find myself drawn to some over and over again. When I compiled a quick list of my favourites, I realized that they share a few common traits. A) They provide me with knowledge, insight or inspiration. C) I leave their sites feeling open-minded and uplifted.

http://asecondbite.blogspot.com/2015/01/friday-foods-normal-eating.html
Friday, January 16, 2015. Friday foods; normal eating. After asking on my instagram. I received a lot of requests to make "what-I-ate-today" posts a reoccurring thing. From now on, I'll try to post something every Friday or at least every other Friday about what I ate for one day that previous week and to make it a bit more interesting, I'll include a my thoughts about some topic and write about it in a more stream-of-conscious way. Breakfast was some French toast with almond butter and syrup]. There are...
