http://lima-says.blogspot.com/2010/11/encouraging-others.html
Just taking it easy.one day at a time. Tuesday, November 2, 2010. During this season of life called grad school, a person can easily get discouraged. Lately, I have been asking myself some hard questions about what encouragement means. Funny how this chapter, I had to read for homework, answered all my questions. For writing a book. With your simple, yet insightful, style of writing, you have challenged. Me to look and practice humility in a different way. What does it mean to encourage or edify? We̵...

adventures of a ginger: A Necessity of the Human Spirit
http://adventuresofaginger.blogspot.com/2011/09/necessity-of-human-spirit.html
Adventures of a ginger. A Necessity of the Human Spirit. If you told me a few months ago that in September I would be driving through the Welsh countryside, hiking the biggest mountain in the country and feeling simultaneously the most exhausted and most exhilerated I've ever been, I probably would've said something along the lines of "do you even know me? You see, I like to. It can't be done. If you want adventure and exhileration you must. Being in the wilderness last week, with others as well as alone...

adventures of a ginger: July 2010
http://adventuresofaginger.blogspot.com/2010_07_01_archive.html
Adventures of a ginger. Ants in my Pants. It's been awhile since my last post.and when I think of all that has happened since December, it seems that much longer. However, I find it to be a good sign when one has no time to write about living life because they are too busy living life. So what have I been doing as of late? Reading, reading, and reading. Baking to my heart's content at my favorite Nashville coffee joint. Jumping off of cliffs.no, really. Way to represent the gingers! From The Duluth Scene.

Adventures of a ginger. Attempting a Graceful Explanation. I have chosen to take part in a mission trip to Northern England with Operation Mobilization and will be gone from September through December 21. You may ask: Wait.what? How did this come about? Well here is my attempt at a graceful explanation of the goings-on in my heart that led to this decision…. Talk about a moment of clarity! As for England, my choice for traveling there is quite simple – I have had a desire to go there for years now&...

adventures of a ginger: The beginning...
http://adventuresofaginger.blogspot.com/2011/09/beginning.html
Adventures of a ginger. I'm sitting in the "lounge" with one of our leaders, thanking God for the awesome gift of technology. It's pretty amazing to me that I can sit on my bunkbed and read emails from friends/family before falling asleep (on my phone no less! Post blogs, check twitter, etc. It's good to feel like I still have some idea what's going on back home even though I'm 1000 miles away. I'm not going to lie - I was so proud of my lack of nerves/homesickness, probably too proud because the Lord qu...

Cafecito con Lima: Remembering Casa Chirilagua
http://lima-says.blogspot.com/2010/11/remembering-casa-chirilagua.html
Just taking it easy.one day at a time. Thursday, November 11, 2010. A couple of weeks ago, during homecoming weekend, I was blessed to meet with a Taylor alumni, Dawnielle. It was one of the best conversations of my life. It was what I needed to remind me why I’m at Taylor. And why I’m writing. Dawnielle is one of the founding members of Case Chirilagua, which is a non-profit and Christian outreach that builds relationships with families in a Latino neighborhood in Virgina. Here is some more information:.
