The donkeys were lifesavers on the 2nd day at Petra, as they saved us from a whole lot of walking, our saddle sore bums were a small price to pay for the comfort of an easy trek. We spent the morning with a friend and her son at a armored tank museum. It was about a 35 min drive from our house on the way to Jerusalem. There were all sorts of old tanks that use to be used by the Israeli army. The kids were able to climb atop and explore. It is now one of my kids favorite things to do here in Israel.
